Which are:

1. Infrastructural barriers
Regardless of the mind boggling development of the Internet since the mid 1990's, India still does not have a vigorous media transmission foundation with adequate solid data transmission for Internet
association. Because of higher costs the important overhauling of equipment and programming is
troublesome; thus, in spite of the fast spread of the Internet the hole is becoming more extensive as the
innovative standard becomes much higher. The lower salary bunch does not have optional cash to spend on cyber– bistros or to get Internet network without anyone else to get to computerized data.

4. Content barriers
The Internet enables thoughts and data to be shared uninhibitedly from resident to native all inclusive. From multiple points of view the quality of the Internet is a component of the quantity of individuals what's more, associations making quality substance. Since no substance controls the Internet, anybody with Internet get to can possibly contribute data. In this manner, to understand the advanced gap, steps ought to be taken by the legislature to guarantee that all nationals are capable to get assorted substance important to their lives and additionally to deliver their own substance for their networks and for the Internet on the loose.

5. Language barriers
India is a nation having a multicultural and multilingual populace.

India is one of the developing country that is most likely to have a less internet connection compared to other countries. This is one of the main reasons that has resulted to the digital divide in education. This is why the students in India are being left out in many things especially in IT.

As we know about the reason, I think one possible way to overcome the digital divide of education in India is by raising funds to provide them with network connection and digital technology in their school. By this way, they could at least use the internet and the technology provided to catch up with the updated education system in this current IT world while they are in school. This will be able help them to close the digital divide that they are facing right now.

References:

Personally, i am very agree with Nayli Nasrena.

As time passes, new media technology like the computer, television, radio and especially the Internet have been advancing rapidly. Society has benefited due to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resulting in people’s lives being made more convenient. Communication has been made easier and information has become faster to access. However, there are countries that are not able to keep up with current day technology causing a digital divide, India being one of them.

The life of a typical citizen residing in the rural parts of India consists of farming and doing handicraft jobs. The people there often to not have any access to any form of technology. While most people in the world have Internet access privileges, some do not even have computers and hence, developments stagnate. Though India is the country which has the second highest number of Facebook users in the world, Internet penetration across the entire population is still below 10 percent according to the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). In fact, about 70 percent of Indians live in rural areas, where 65 percent among the working population are farmers. As a result, there have been attempts to resolve the technological issue in rural India and bridging the digital divide.

The main problem is that these 70 percent have an extremely difficult time obtaining electricity in villages. Without electricity, there is no internet. However, the main issue here is the internet. It is being seen as something that can help raise their standard of living “especially for education, commerce and participatory democracy” (Lancaster, 2003) over the last decade. As education and technology are practically a necessity in the world today, several solutions were suggested to address the main issue.

I think it's about time the government replace the back-dated syllabus of the education system. Students aren't able to perform well because of this system. It is hard for the Indian students to secure a good place in the leading world-class organizations.
To improve the colleges in India, the university authorities and the government should focus more on the research and development of the syllabus. The syllabus should talk about the modern world and students should also focus on relevant case studies.
