If this continues, herbivores will die, breaking the food chain, and eventually the carnivores will die, so we won’t have anymore meat to eat. This causes our muscles to get flabby and mushy so eventually at one point, we will be extinct too. And the decomposers will have more food, which will grow more plants, so a new food web/chain will grow, leading to an infinite cycle of extinction and reproduction.
