Participating in the ONL172 course has been great! Initially it was a bit confusing to find information about the group meetings on the google+ and to get used to the different plattforms. But I learned a lot by that.
It was realy learning by doing! A great demonstration of how this type of course can be set up. It can function as a role model for future courses.

After a couple of weeks the structure of the course got clearer to me and the process of the course was much easier to follow. It was realy fun to interact on Zoom, it was great to meet people from all over the world!

I want to thank you all for this great experience!

As a group member: At the beginning, I did not know exactly what I was doing. Then, as a member of a team, I learn from my group members and follow their lead. Eventually, I knew what I was doing and try to contribute as much to the group as I can. With team enthusiasm and commitment, it kept me committed more.

As an individual: The reason I joined the course is that I wanted to learn new things that would benefit my teaching and my students. I knew right from the beginning that I got to the right place for learning. I was not sure what I would be getting even though a clear overview of the course was clearly given. That was a good thing becuase it kept me motivated and wanted to know what came next. I was a bit nervous as I was out of my comfort zone. I was lucky enought to be part of this team. I learnt a lot from everyone and you might not notice. Thank you all for having me in the group.

PS. Many thanks to our facilitators, Maria and Alan. You both are great.

Not all groups know how to collaborate, but ours did. Group members were dedicated, motivated, timely, and encouraging. This together with the desire to share and learn created a wonderful atmosphere in the group.

As an individual, I gained new knowledge about frameworks for online and blended learning, which are already helping me with course design. I also found out about eTools that I would never have known about. It was great to try some of them in the course, and now more of them afterwards. In short, my learning continues:-) And I hope to cross paths with PBL2 members - in the future. Thank you to everyone!

This learning experience was really a eye opener with regards to collaborative learning, new tools and finding your own learning materials.

Working a the group was a great experience especially as it seems that all of us was sort of out of our depth.

Individually it was giving me the oppurtunity to get my frame of mind in the correct space for my masters next year.

My future practice will be influenced, it might be slow, but there will be some changes coming this year already. Like online e-portfolios for my students that need to do Work Integrated Learning.

I learned through others learning blogs.....and reflected on that in my last blog. For me the rainbow symbolizes a new beginning and is never ending...so here to new beginning is in my classroom and a never ending learning.

I very much felt there were two mes working in this course. The first me was a group member, who went to as many meetings as he could and tried to work together with other people. The second me worked by himself, away from the group; either because he couldn't commit to the group times, or because the assignment needed individual time. And that has made me think about collaboration. Because maybe collaboration is when you manage to get these two sides to meet. When working as an individual and working as a group overlap.

This course has certainly helped me gain some new perspectives (or at least try on some new ones), I've learnt some new tricks, and meet some top people.

Now that's not bad, as far as learning outcomes go.

thanks to ONL course, to Maria for facilitating us, for Alan always so positive and organizing zoom and to ALL of you in the group who were willing to share and be patient as we all went on the journey together.
I am very gratfeul to have learnt about many new tools and not see the internet and online teaching as a scary or unnecessary thing. In fact I now can much better see the benefits and have an appreciation of how my children will learn in the coming years and how I can become a better teacher. I also was reminded that the fundamentals of good teaching don't change, just the format and the tools. Engagement is still key.
I also learnt on a personal level to sit back and relax, that I don't always need to be in control and know what is going on, that in a group we can achieve much more. I am so used to working independently, that this course was both a challenge and in the end a very enjoyable experience. thanks everyone!
