The "trick" or "shadow on the wall" is saying that a shadow looks big and solid, but it has no substance, an illusion. And just like a shadow, a power can vanish, like when the shadow disappears when light changes.

And "a very small man can cast a very large shadow" means that you have to be strong, tall, and impressive to be powerful. Just like cunning and intelligent people because their actual size or physical strength doesn't matter, but the shadow they cast is huge.

So in short words, power lives in the mind of people. 😭

PS: sorry for the long explanation, ma'am. It's literally one of my favorites, so I can't let this go without sharing my interpretation.

This is my favorite line on the song “Scars To Your Beautiful” because I really love the message of this line which is promotes self-acceptance, empowerment, and self-love, embracing imperfections as part of one's beauty.

This part reminds me of someone that I missed, they are my parents. They both died when I was young. If I was given a chance to be with them or even just to hear them call my name, because I grow up with my aunt taking care of me. I can't deny that even I am completely comfortable with the love and attention I have from my aunt still I'm logging for the love of a biological parents. I only keep this wants in me because I don't want to bother my aunt's emotion.
