The stall also has to look tall, sturdy and proud like most art deco buildings. 

Ziggurat elements and symmetry are emphasized here. The ziggurat steps are used for the display, whereby the items sold can be put on the steps and then pushed in when closing the stall. Inside the steps are also spaces to store items. 

The next element that I want to emphasize in this concept is the theatrical element of an art deco building. The front of the stall would look like an olden day theater with the movement of entering in, drawing the attention inwards. In this space, it will be used for hanging items. 

The third element is the streamline element. I wanted to make the stall have a long streamline motion horizontally and the intention was that when the stall is opened, it would create that effect. In this concept, symmetry is focused at the front of the stall. The aim of this concept was to make the middle portion of the stall the centre of attraction. Like a focal point. The ziggurat were used slightly at the upper part of the stall as an emphasis element. There is also a pole on the top of the (another element of the art deco building) which looks like it connects to the spotlight in the middle. This is to emphasize the symmetry and to give a fun element about the illusion of the spotlight piercing through the stall. 

The doors of the stall will be like a wardrobe concept whereby the door will be the length of the stall, so that it can just open and close the whole stall without readjusting. The doors will be used for hanging. The bottom part will be the glass display (in front) and storage at the back. There will be a partition in the middle.

The bottom part are glass displays. The back of the stall is the exact same thing as the front. The purpose of this is because Kasturi Walk has two entrances, and has two directions of the flow of people. (Functional Elements)
For this detail design, I have decided to focus on the functionality of the stall that will solve the problems that I have found during the research phase. The problems are small working space, lack of storage area, heat, hazard and poor ventilation. I aso focused on fulfilling the requirement needed by a store such as menu dsiplay area, food display area, food preparing area and food preparing area. The design choices of some features has been carefully thought. The choice of slanted roof is to prevent rain from dropping onto the walkway. Both major windows at the stall are located facing each other so the air can be circulated naturally. For this concept, the focus was to make it look strong and sturdy. This concept uses the elements of art deco from the interior of the CM building. 

In the first attempt, only the front door could be opened to the left whereas the back door is by sliding up, but visually it would not look balanced. 

The door for the back of the stall was modified and uses the same method of opening as the front. So visually, it would look like the door is opened on the right and left.
