Dr. Steve Maraboli once said, "Every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed to something better."

I remember my first two job interviews - one in Charlotte, NC for an IT job and the second at a small private school as a 3rd grade teacher - I was rejected. A short time late, I interviewed for a job at the local library where I was offered a job with state benefits. I was redirected.

What I am grateful for now is that if I had gotten those jobs then, I may not have met and married my husband; I may not have my children; I may not live where I happily live now; I may not have the job I have now. All of things I love about my life.

Favorite doughnut: Chocolate Iced

I think that rejection is a bad thing because sometimes it can really hurt the person that you reject. It was cool how he got Krispy Kreme to make him some special Olympic donuts for him. Also, somebody let him play soccer in their yard, let him drive a police car, and the flight attendant let him give the safety speech. So, in the beginning he got rejected a lot, but in the end he started getting yes answers instead of no.

My favorite doughnut: Chocolate Glazed Doughnut

How he went around and ask people if he could play soccer in there backyard also how he went and got free krispykream donuts. Also how he ask a police officer if he could ride in his police car. And how he ask the filet attended if he could do the safety check. He was a cool guy and i think he probably helped a lot of people.

A GLAZED KRISPYKREAM DONUT.

i think that rejection can motovate someone to do something else. He asked someone if he could play soccer in their back yard and they said yes. It is cool that he went to Krispy Kreme and asked for them in a olympics symbol and they were on the house. He asked a flight atendent if he could anounce it and he said yes. If you get rejected it just means that the thing wasn't for you. I couldn't take 100 rejections i would be mad. That is what I thought about the ted talk.

my favorite donut is- choclate iced.

I think I would feel bad if I got rejected.I could never do 100 days of rejection. Wouldn't it be a little dangerous? One time I asked my mom if I could have a cookie and she said no. I did feel bad because I could not have one, they were for the bake sale. The man went to Krispy Kreme and didn't get rejected for a special order . I bet he is brave now. I know i would have been scared.

my favorite doughnut would be glazed and raseberry filled

The Ted Talk that we watch today was about the 100 days of rejection. This Chinese guy talked about rejection. He said that he was applying for a job and he got rejected. Ever since he got rejected he went into rejection therapy. The nit said that donuts changed his life. I didn't think that the people he asked would say yes. It was strange that the flight attendant said that he could work the speaker. I think it was a very good TED Talk. I really liked the video and it was very very awesome.

Favorite Donut: New York Cheescake Donut :)

When you ask somebody for something they might say yes but they also might say no. I remember one time i asked for a cookie but my mom said no, but i was not sad because i asked my dad and i got a cookie anyway so i was happy then. so life in not always going to go your way, but don't give up!

<3 I Love Glazed <3

Today, our ted talk talked about 100 days of rejection. I think this was a good lesson to learn because everytime you get rejected, you shouldn't get mad. If you get mad because you get rejected, you will never have a happy life. I have gotten rejected many times like when I go to the store and I ask for a candy bar, sometimes my mom won't get it for me and I don't get mad because I know it is not nessecary. If you don't get mad when someone rejects you, you will have a happy life.
