These kids have a very rare disease called G7W and if not treated these kids can die at the age of around 14 or in their early teenhood. These kids have been taken by the Karai Institute for treatment and once these kids are treated they can gain superpowers. These kids have been sent on a couple of missions and they have been collecting information about Atlantis because they have to bring the Loculi back together. He has the rare G7W disease. This disease kills if not get it treated by your teen hood. When the disease is treated, superpowers can be obtained. Jack has been taken to be treated by the Karai Institute and is gaining abilities he never knew he had.
There are many differences between someone who does have G7W and someone who does not. Kids with G7W will die if not treated. People that do not have G7W live longer than people with G7W. People with G7W can do many things that normal people can not do. Normal people do not have to be treated for the disease at all.
