With two minutes left in the game it seemed to be Reading's win, then Arsenal scored in the 89th minute and again five minutes deep in added time. Chamakh scored for Arsenal in extra time to make it 5-4. Reading equalized with 4 minutes left, then Arsenal ended it with two quick goals to put the game out of reach. Man City fans were heading for the exit of Wembley and were halfway down Wembley Way when they heard the first roar, Kevin Harlock pulling one back in the 90th minute. The fans rushed back to the stadium just in time for the second goal, Paul Dickov scoring in the 5th minute of injury time.
