-Students also need to know how to express their needs and wants.

-By learning these self-advocacy skills they will be able to function and contribute to society in a positive way.

-Students should be taught so they can understand the laws that are part of IDEA and ADA .  

-Teaching them about relationships through the Circles program with help them to understand what are appropriate social  relationships and how to act.

-All teachers on campus can use SEL (Social Emotional Learning)  techniques to help students learn a variety of skills on how to deal with day-to-day stressors and to learn how positively unique and special they are.
