Hi . My name is Angel, most of my friends call me "Ang". I am a Gemini and hail from Greensboro, N.C. I chose to finish what I started at NCAT because I owe it to myself. I work a 9-5 , love to cook and travel. Outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting and boat rides are some of my favorite things to during the summer. I identify as a "southerner" at heart! That means that I am usually outside planting, messing around with my indoor plants, line dancing or just basically outdoors. I love life and my daughter and celebrate every good moment when it occurs.

Memorable event

My most memorable moment was when I found out that I made the Dean's list. I'm not sure if I can say if it came as a surprise but it as I navigated through a certain section in my profile. This is where I found the moment that changed how much I am dedicated to myself and improving the things I needed to work in the past.

Social Issues

I believe that police brutality is becoming more and more of a social issue, however; there is no one-size -fits- all solutions but there may be strategies to help reduce police violence. this could start with culture change - shift from " warrior" to "guardian" . I believe this type of mindset creates a healthier response.

Traveling

I like to travel with friends and family, trying new foods while learning about different cultures. I recently visited Puerto Rico for my Birthday, the food was great!
