Our center started to serve our special and gifted students as of the 2018/2019 academic year.

The name of our center was changed to "Ahmet ULUÇAY Science and Art Center" with the APPROVAL of our Ministry of National Education dated 12/12/2018 and numbered 23992396.

The center serves to meet the educational needs of gifted students. Its vision is to raise creative global leaders who will contribute to the sustainable development of individuals and societies. Its mission is to provide meaningful educational experiences that encourage personal, academic, artistic and social development in order to raise responsible citizens who lead the future, produce, learn throughout life, and provide students with opportunities to reach their full potential.

There are 10 teachers working at the center and 254 students are receiving education. Education is provided full-time, with the afternoon group attending classes between 15:30-17:50, and the evening group attending classes between 18:00-20:10. The center has 57 workshops, 1 meeting room, 1 multi-purpose hall, 9 professional application laboratories, 1 science laboratory, 1 IT classroom and a library with 2,550 books.

Ahmet Uluçay BİLSEM organizes various projects and events to develop the scientific and artistic talents of students. For example, it actively participates in national and international projects such as TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair, TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festival, TÜBİTAK 2204A and 2204B projects, TEKNOFEST and Erasmus+.

In addition, the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) concept is implemented in the center, and it aims to develop 21st century skills with flexible and technology-supported learning areas. In this context, research, production, development, collaboration and presentation areas have been created.

The center is also active on social media platforms. For example, it operates under the username "@TavsanliBilsem" on X (formerly Twitter).

Finally, Ahmet Uluçay BİLSEM also draws attention with the events it organizes. For example, the BİLSEM FEST'24 event held in 2024 was an organization where students met with entertainment and art.
