Today at Macbeth's palace the body of king duncan was found dead. Investigators say he was stabbed multiple times in the chest and he seemed to be intoxicated. His body was found alongside several others whose bodies are currently trying to be identified. According to macbeth he made the following statement “ I walked into the room and saw the king dead, along him were 3 men sleeping and i could only think one thing, i may have reacted in a bad way but i was furious and thought in the heat of the moment”. It's quite difficult to see what actually happened considering the only possible suspects are dead. The only other people that were there were questioned as well but no one in the castle seems to know anything really besides the fact that the king is now dead. The maids were question and even they didn't hear anything during the night of horror. What started as a very fun and welcoming night, ended in horror.

The body of lord banquo was found dead today. Banquo was a noble and loyal soldier who was traveling at the time. The time of death was around 7pm at night, banquo was found dead on the dirt road. His son fleance was with him at the time but luckily he got away and ran authorities, unfortunately for banquo it was too late when guards got to the scene. He was stabbed in the chest and his throat was cut, He was pronounced dead at the scene. When guards asked his son fleance if he saw their faces he replied with “ My father told me to run, so i did. I didn't even look back, out of fear. I didn't even catch a glimpse of their faces and it haunts me” There's no telling really on how many people were involved with this murder. His body was found by a local who recognized his face and when she was questioned, she claimed that he was a very wonderful and loyal guy, she couldn't believe someone had even done this to him, he was loyal to his county, a very noble warrior “may he rest well in the heavens”.

It’s currently been a week since the passing of King Duncan. Now that his two sons have vanished and failed to take the throne, Macbeth is now going to be crowned king. No one would’ve thought this to ever happen but considering the circumstances it’s seems more realistic. As I interviewed the towns people everyone seem to have a very wide range of opinions. I asked the knights how they felt, one answered “ I simply think it is wrong for us to not question the incident in Macbeth’s castle, someone got off easy and now Macbeth is King”. I asked lord banquo for his opinion on the subject matter and he said “ My dear friend Macbeth deserves this spot more than anyone, if there is a person fit for king, he’s that person”.

I am 16 years old and still trying to figure out one thing. Do you think King Duncan was murdered by his sons so that they could rule the throne? This is a very interesting question, the witnesses to his murder were killed and it seems to me that it’s too brutal for them to even consider it, the fact that he was stabbed in his sleep just doesn’t seem a type of thing either of them would do, although the fact that they did flee puts them under suspicion and many will believe because of that, it makes them the culprit but I think otherwise
