Summary

This book is about a family that moves to Maine. The Creeds did not

know anything about the cemetery until Jud, a next door neighbor showed

them. The spectral place can revive anything that you bury under it.

So, the main character's daughter's cat died and Jud told him to bury it and don't tell his daughter. He

soon found that the cat somehow went back to life and was at his house. (I won't spoil the rest, this is

"must read" book).

My favorite part of the book is when Church(cat) got run over and Louis and Jud

took the cat and bury it at the Pet Sematary. This is my favorite part, because if you read the novel,

it will describe the journey of them burying the cat greatly in details.

Quotation

"There was a big old St.Bernard went rabid

downstate a couple years ago and killed four people." (King 28). This

quote is important, because it alludes to another of King's book "Cujo."

Cujo is a dog that went rabid and killed four people. The St.Bernard went rabid because of the evil

spirit in the town they're living in. Therefore this foreshadows what is going to happen to the family.
