Joint Teams meetings between Tooting/Clerkenwell campuses: Clerkenwell colleagues use a long meeting room for this. Tooting colleagues can only hear and see the first 2 or 3 people in this room. Only the person logged into teams is indicated as speaking, regardless of who is actually speaking. The subtitle option does not pick up people speaking further down the room. Please can you add microphones further down the room so that Tooting colleagues can hear what is being said, this would aid communication and better team work, thankyou.

The Library Services Operational Chart is useful to help understand at a glance current staffing, reporting lines etc.

Is it possible please to have some similar hierarchy/diagram of Library services groups, giving an indication of where they report to/feed into for decision making (and Chair, if there is space).

Hi Louise – thanks for your email of 04/06, hope you are feeling better now. You let us know that Library Services is now in stage 2 of the integration stage, Design.

Marcelle Moncrieffe-Newman in the PSTOM info session 10/06 clarified that there will be a freeze on all recruitment in a directorate during the design phase, until the end of the consultation phase. So assume that means that there is now a freeze on recruitment to any posts that become vacant now? Thanks

The initial figure of £250,000 savings required by library services is relatively small, and does not represent a large amount of positions.

When you talk of "future proofing" the service do you include the reappraisal of job descriptions in your definition? I ask as the limited number of posts represented by the

£250,000 savings may not deliver large scale change or "future proofing". Do you intend to exceed the required £250,000 savings?

Hope you had a good break. I’ve seen a phrase used in one of the internal roles currently advertised referring to the student systems as one of the "IT Big 6".

I can’t see any info easily on the sharepoint site or recent comms about this.

Can you tell us what the “IT Big 6” are please?

Also how does work around those affect Library Services activities & PSTOM planning?

Where, as part of the integration exercise, a member of staff on a (legacy) SGUL or (legacy) Kingston contract (and related terms and conditions) are appointed to a new Professional Services structure, they would be given the choice of retaining their existing terms and conditions or moving to a City St George’s contract of employment (and related terms and conditions)."

Will you be addressing in the meeting tomorrow how affected members of staff on legacy SGUL contract can work out which would be most beneficial/pros and cons of either option?
