He wrote poems, plays and novels, including Baltasar and Bimunda and The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis. His novel Blindness was made into a film in 2008.

      He was born in 16 November 1922 in Azinhaga, Portugal.

      In 1925, Saramago and his family went to Lisbon, in 1934 he went to a industrial school.

      In 1947, he published his first romance “Terra do Pecado”, but it was unsuccessful, he wrote a second romance “Claraboya”, but it was published in 2012, two years after his death.

      In 1995, he won a Camões prize and in 1998 a Nobel prize.

      He died in 18 July 2010, in Tías, Spain.



      Tom Bergling (Avicii) was a famous musician and song writer.

      He was born in 8 September 1989, Stockholm, Sweden.

      In 2013 he published his first album in studio “True”

      He won 12 prizes and was named for 25.

      He died in 20 April 2018, in Muscat, Oman.

José Saramago was a portuguese writer, he won some important
awards like Camões Prize (1995), and Nobel Prize in Literature (1998).
He was famous because he never learned how to write with dots, his works are without dots, that’s why each person interprets his works as they want Saramago was a founding member of the National Front for the defense of Culture in Lisbon in 1992, and co-founder with of the EWP (European Writers' Parliament).
In the 18th of june 2010, he died in the Canarian Islands (Spain), with 87 years.
