I thought this resource looked very useful. With pushing so many assignments out to students through Google Classroom and not using physical math manipulatives, I think this would be a great resource for students even if things return to "normal" next year. Also, since my district is no longer having traditional snow days. Having resources like this available will be helpful for students to work from home.

NASA Climate Kids- Since we teach our third graders about climate, I thought this would be a great resource to share with them. As I began to explore on the site I realized it had so much more information and most of it fits into our third grade curriculum It is a great resource to add to digital lessons. The site is very student friendly with some text to read, but also links to videos related to each topic as well.

There were actually a few resources that I found helpful! The one that I will be excited to use is the PALS activities. This website has a variety of phonological awareness and other literacy activities that you can view and print. This is also a great website to share with parents who may be looking for extra things to do with their child at home.

Teacher / Student / Hybrid

I liked checking out the secondary option, though was disappointed that it was only science. I clicked around a bit but couldn't find a similar option for another subject area. I was hoping for English. :)
I liked seeing the differences in structure between teacher-centered model, learner-centered model, and hybrid. I am still very drawn towards the hybrid model. I like the idea of the student-centered one, but I'm not sure all of mine could be self motivated enough to go forward without more teacher push. I would love to see more of that student-centered model in a secondary classroom.

As an ELL tutor, I've had a little bit of exposure to WIDA and its programs, and while I really don't enjoy the February ACCESS testing from WIDA, it was nice to discover this "teaching multilingual learners online" link -- which opens up a whole new field of many, many resources that guide a teacher through tools that cater to the needs of multilingual learners. I'm especially excited about diving into ReadWorks and BookCreator. My daughter has used BookCreator before in her 4th grade class. She became obsessed with writing her own stories. I'm excited about looking at it from a teaching perspective.
