         <description><![CDATA[<div>James was transferred from Fort Knox to Fort Monmouth. In this transfer he was changed from combat arms&nbsp;into the signal corps school, signal corps which is military communication. James is mad because he wanted to see action and in the signal corps that was not very likely. He later graduated signal corps school and became a signal corps officer which transferred him to Fort Meade.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>James was accepted to be a glider pilot, so he was transferred&nbsp; to Lubbock Army Flying School(LAFS). He graduated and was now in the Air corps; in less than six months James had four different service insignia's: Infantry, Armored Force, Signal Corps and Air Corps. But to become a glider pilot he had to go to a few other schools like Army air navigation school, Army Air force Glider Training Detachment(AAFGTD).</div>]]></description>

James was burned a little but made it to the ground safely. They got into two house but then later were taken prisoner by Germans. </div>]]></description>
