Amma, chechi (elder sister) and I would take the shuttle and rackets to the open space infront of our home and play for one or two hours straight. Honestly the time was magical. Making up new rules during the midst to earn that one extra point, screaming out loud when foul moves are played, being super lazy to pick up the fallen shuttlecock, teaming up against that particular person when debates arise Oh boy it was fun! Wish I could attach one or two photos but unfortunately I don't have one. Maybe it was for best because today the scenario is totally different the evenings are completely consumed by our never ending scrolls, watching and pouting over reels, subscribing to the so called "interesting contents", texting through the chai times are our single most priority. Except amma we both are literally glued to our bed.
The abscence of individual smartphones during that time were the sole reason for our games, a period of honest recreation.

I still remember my the first console was a gameboy, which my uncle had bought from the states. Overtime there been have devices many gadgets from a gameboy to playstation then to a gaming pc a lot of evolution has occured.
The amount of joy I personally feel after mastering a very hard game like Dark Souls or Sekiro is something which can only be experienced rather than describing them in mere words.
Even though games have taken a drastic turn from vcops to vanguard I think the pleasure and blissfullness I procure after completing a game has not changed.

Amigurumi is another thing I picked up this lockdown. It's the art of crocheting little stuffed animals. It is easiest thing I've ever done as long as I don't loose track of the stich count. My ideal day is and will always be listening to a horrifying true crime podcast while crocheting cute little animals. I love how you can see your creation taking shape but you don't see the whole thing until you assemble all the pieces. And since then I draw whatever I can for my phone case when I got the time. I sometimes read light novels from the internet. But if I'm too lazy I just sleep in my bed and not do anything. Playing football is very exciting, and it is a great way to relieve stress. It usually takes 1hr to play.
Besides having fun when I play, it is good exercise, which keeps me healthy and puts me in a good mood for the entire week.
Going for walks on the weekends/evenings is relaxing, it makes me feel good and refreshes my mind.
Finally listening to music after classes helps me to relieve mental stress and physical exhaustion. It's more an obsession than a leisure time activity. I might have work piling up, assignments pending but a few minutes of guitar is just too hard to resist.

They say a power nap in between a busy schedule makes you more productive, playing the guitar is something similar to me.
It's usually a bit of John Mayer, Hendrix and sometimes the good old Tarrega, just the different forms in which absolute delight comes.

This one is a theme song from one of my favourite animes "Naruto", it feels wonderful to play the whole story in my mind while playing this song on the guitar. Hope my fellow weebs like it!

It takes 7-8 days because these beautiful roses are made up of m-seal and it takes time to become hard and after that applying white acrylic paint letting it to dry and finally paint it with some pearl paints at last some other decorations.
Every time I come up with different types of design and its a difficult task when it comes to color combination because if the pot and flowers are of same colors it will be not so attractive. I think people should try this , I bet you will enjoy this!!

I have tried lot of other paintings with mandala. After learning mandala I have done some acrylic painting and then done some mandala on it. In my leisure time I spend it by using the software "Stellerium" which is basically a simulator, more like a digital telescope. I use this software to find locations, brightness, distance between Earth and respective object. I just type in the objects names and the software would show me its location and many other information, you can even place yourself in other planet virtually and see how our beautiful Earth appears from that planet. I would fast-forward the days to see when would the next eclipse occur, how would it look, when I miss any special astronomical event I would just rewind the time and look it. Its totally great software along with fun you get to learn a lot.
Other than this even too enjoy gaming especially, racing games, it has taught me a lot about cars and how tunning the cars would effect its performance.

The way of sketching, shading, painting is just like giving life to one's thoughts.

Artist is the one who can go beyond realistic things and bring out the things that are not seemingly possible into picture just by sketching or painting.
Artists have an ideology that not only fuels their work but also the way they think, the way they put their thoughts in the form of art, and portray things.

Even though the world is modernizing with digital paintings, the realistic paintings done by artists using the paints, brushes, canvas, canvas board guarantees true satisfaction.

I would love to paint, sketch and shade and it is one of my favorite things to do. I got inspired by my dad who is a great artist. He is a role model for me in this aspect and even in other aspects.

I have always wanted to express my talent whenever I get a chance.

I have participated in a lot of art and craft completions in my school and also I've won many prize. I have also participated in Inter-School Competitions and bagged many Prizes.

I would love to do things wholeheartedly and I believe that is what keeps me going.

I have always wanted to be creative, I even do craft works and decorative items. I'm not that one person who is caged do restrictive things. I have always wanted to express my thoughts.

Shading is one of my most favorite things when it comes to the form of art.
I use shading pencils, cotton buds, brushes to shade my sketch.
Highlighting the sketch with bold pencils and an eraser would make it look even more good. Black and white sketch is my favorite. I've sketched Cinema Artists, my friends etc., my friends love my sketches.

Doing things that brings out happiness is a treat to the soul.

So never stop doing whatever you like. Most my childhood time was with either seeing cartoons or playing pc games. As both of my parents were working these games and tv entertainment was part of my leisure time. But thanks to covid and lockdown , I got to spend more time with my parents. I always used to crib about not having a sibling to spend my time with [particularly for not having to share my parents stress 😬 ,single child has to bear all the stess and anxiety after their parent's work so in my thinking if there was someone with me probably they would shared their anger also.] On a lighter note I loved to have caring brother or sister seeing my friends and cousins. During this lockdown time I was able connect securely with my parents who filled that void. From then me and especially my mother look to that we talk to each other about that day before going to bed. It's feels light after talking to my mom. So my leisure time with my parents is always the best. Apart from that I listen to music.

As a 8th std kid I got too much interest towards playing guitar and really enjoyed it. Initial days were bit hard and hectic to learn playing guitar but all that I knew is never give up. Since I joined my classes In summer, I remember practising the basics for whole day untill I fall asleep and that rush which I used to get in midnights to play guitar and as days passed I got bit good at it and started learning myself.
And cuming to wheels, I was just fascinated by seeing one of frnd skating and somehow I managed and dragged my parents to get my skate shoes of basic level and learnt by myself on terrace and yah I fell and got bit hurt but still the joy of skating in skate shoes was nothing less than any orgasm. And Eventually it got broke and I got curious abt wave board like, hw do they balance a board which has only 2 wheels and it was amazing to look. So I just forced my bro to get me one and since wave board looked complex he refused to get me that so I had to challenge him like if I don't learn that in a month, return it ( which is possible in decathlon) and this happened during my 1st sem of my bachelors and since i was so much into wave board that hunger kept me curious and dedicated to surf it . Within the span of 2 days I learnt and literally my parents and neighbors got amazed seeing that. I remember practising it for hours and hours and end up with full sweat and pain. But it's soo nyccc and the feeling which I get while surfing is so relax . Coming from a Keralite background movies are something that stays close to us all. We love movies irrespective of the language it is released in. The movie craze which I got travels long back. My father being a cinema lover always used to take me and family for movies every weekend. I still remember being sleepy in front of my dad’s bike after all the second shows.
But I did not loved movies back then, for me it was someplace where I could sit in air condition for hours. My real love for cinemas started when I was 3000 km away from my home. I started watching movies frequently after my family shifted to Dubai, it was mainly cause of the boredom I faced when I was alone in the flat as my parents were both working. Like everyone else I started watching regional movies a lot, mainly through tv channels. Back then I had no idea that even Malayalam movies were releasing in UAE. Gradually I started renting out CDs of movies and I started to watch them all. In fact, the hobby which I started to do in my spare time turned into something that I do all the time. Crime thrillers and comedy entertainers were my favourite genres. Later when I figured out that even Malayalam movies are being released in UAE (which is usually a week later the actual release), I used to go with my mother to all the Malayalam movies that were releasing. Both my parents were okay with my movie craze, but my dad could not join cause of all the work. My mother was my main cinema companion then.
While I started with regional movies, I gradually started watching good movies from all the language. I slowly broke all the language bonds which I had while selecting a movie to watch. I started watching movies and shows in Spanish, French, Indonesian, Korean and much more language. Such films gave me a lot of idea about the culture and tradition of these countries. After all these years I still try to watch all the movies I look forward to from theatres. Also, a few years back I started watching a lot of series of different languages. And it is a bit difficult to select one between them.
