In Year 9, I attended a three day excursion to LaTrobe with Mr. Marcus.

During the 3 day program we conducted experiments and attended lectures to do with our science curriculum. I loved the experience of working and learning in the labs at LaTrobe. The people that had helped us during the program were very kind, interesting, and inspiring. 

We had learnt about the synchrotron (a particle accelerator), bacteria and illusions. Personally, the lecture and experiments we did with bacteria had been the most interesting out of the three. We were taught about the different bacteria's in foods, how they are formed, and what we can do about them.
