I enjoy lots of different types of music. I'm not very good with naming genres but some artists/bands I always have on repeat are Faye Webster, Beabadoobee, Ken Carson, Thaiboy Digital, Weezer, Izaya Tiji, and The Smiths. I also really enjoy going to concerts!! Recently, I went to the Ken Carson concert, Rich Amiri + Highway2009 concert and I almost died at Ken but I'd do it again lol. Some artists I hope to see in MN in the future are Wisp, smokedope2016, Mitski, etc. Here’s a clip from the Ken Carson concert, all my other vids are too long.

Strengths and Interests

I would say my strengths are that I am welcoming and talkative when I need to be. I have a strong sense of when it's appropriate to engage in conversation and how to effectively read the room. I'd also say that I have pretty good time management considering I am balancing volunteering at a Tibetan school, attending my cultural dance class + performances, my job, school, and other things. I would also say that I'm very career/goal-oriented and take every opportunity I can to make sure I know what type of field I'm going to end up in. I am a trendhopper, unfortunately. I can never stick to one interest and it is not that bad lol. I have learned a lot from my little hobbies one of them being music. I've always catered towards music when it came to expressing my culture and it only expanded from there as I grew up.

My name is Tenzin Choedon (yes like from Avatar). I am Tibetan but I was born in India and moved to the States as young as 1 year old I think. I play 6 instruments and I play tennis but I didn't join this year to focus on my grades. In my free time, I like to go on walks, hang out with friends, shop, and sleep. I tend to be introverted but if I get familiar with someone I can be very outgoing and funny I hope lol.

what i did this summer

This summer I went to Chicago for a Midwest Tricity tournament and then I went to New York later on. In between that I went to many state parks and did some hiking with my family. I also hung out with my cousins and friends. I mainly hung out with my cousin who is going to college this year in NYC. This summer was like a rollercoaster for me from getting out of a relationship and only scoring 2nd place in the Midwest comp to enjoying quality time and making memories with all the amazing people I surround myself with. It was a summer with many lasting memories and new friendships.

going well

Something that's going well for me recently is how productive the new school year has made me. I started planning my days in a planner I bought and I even bought a new vanity so my makeup wouldn't be a distraction for me when I'm trying to do homework. I started making my bed every morning waking up earlier and going to bed earlier too. As soon as I get home from school I like to look over any assignments I may have and try to do them before my shifts. I've also been cleaning a lot more lately and I'm not sure why but I like it. Normally if I had a pile of laundry I'd just ignore it and watch a show but now I feel like I can't do anything until my room is completely clean. For example, I took apart my entire closet sanitized everything, and rearranged my clothes vertically to look more spacious.
