         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Tang started from the ashes of the Sui dynasty in 618. Which was ruled by Gaozu but then taken over by his son Taizong who basically killed half of his family to take over the throne. China when under the Tang dynasties rule had its borders expanded. Also they had more roads and canals added to connect the country. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>  The Tang Dynasty made an imperial state. To make it stronger. They used many ideas from Sui, Tang used a Sui tax system for their imperial state. Tang rulers made a new code of law it was listed all of the laws in china was going to be used everywhere.  After the Tang it was the Song, they ruled from 960 to 1279. They have made more schools and changed the exam to cover more basic subjects.</div>]]></description>

Merchants used roads and waterways to transport themselves and goods through China. Chinese farmers planted new rice around 1000 A.D. that expanded the food supply of China. Then the Song introduced Chinese  money to use for trade of objects of value.</div>]]></description>

In this particular time there where methods to make paper in large quantities. They also made wood block printing and movable type these two inventions helped Chinese Poets. The Chinese also made gunpowder for warfare and magnetic compasses.</div>]]></description>

By doing so the became the ruler of the Mongols. He was later known as Genghis Khan with means "universal ruler''. Genghis settled all over Central Asia and Northern China. </div>]]></description>

Yongle was a great leader like his dad and as one of his great achievements he enlarged the capital of Beijing  and was called the Forbidden City.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Ming Dynasty started to decline after 300 years in power. Due to weak rulers, high taxes, and poor harvests. Manchus or the people of Manchuria took advantage of the Ming decline and took power of China. Then called there dynasty the Qing dynasty. Manchus were slightly like the Ming in allowing trade but in all limiting foreign contacts and not allowing foreign influence in their country. But like everything  China's last Dynasty fell in 1911.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Yongle sent many maritime expeditions to other civilizations. The Yongle wanted to embrace the Chinese influence. To do so they built a fleet of ships for exploration. China accomplished seven long voyages through 1404 and 1433. Zheng sailed next to Southeast Asia to India, Arabia , and Africa. He came back with gold and jewels. The Ming ended the maritime voyages and banned the building of seagoing ships.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After Kublai Khan's death the MongolEmpire slowly weakened. A rebellious army led by Zhu Yuanzhang overthrew the Mongol emperor. Zhu made the Mind Dynasty and became its first emperor named Hongwu. He supported Confucianism and brought back state exams. He helped trade by rebuilding roads, and canals. He also extended the Great Wall of China.</div>]]></description>
