Principled is about knowing what is right and wrong, furthermore, you will have to be persistent about what you believe is right. 

Being a good communicator requires lots of verbal and non verbal communication, which includes good body language, presentation skills, skills to analyze critically, and being able to let others understand my thoughts and ideas. One thing I wish to do is to be able to evaluate the failures of communication, therefore during this class I will take part in group activities and discussions and be more active during class.

 

It is a way of challenging myself, scoping my personality into a better whole. Trying to be more principled is truly a challenging for me to work hard on. 

A lot of TOK includes time when you have to take a position, which means that you have to make decisions and stand in a position that you believe it is right. This shows that the skill of being principle is important for TOK. 

When I come into my personal core values I recognize these core values by entering in the value. For me is by having the awareness of things that is happing around myself. Furthermore, I will have strong feelings and connections between the core values. 

I might have the feeling of loosing the connections or passion towards the core values, sometimes it means relief for me, sometimes I may felt sadness. 

Language: I communicate with the airport staff for answering my inquiries.

Intuition: I know that most airplane will be delayed, meaning that I need to wait longer in the airport.

Memory: I remember what the airport looks like.

Reasons: When I’m passing through the traffic light.

Imagination: I imagine that there will be clear direction in the airport that will guide me to a place that I can meet my mom.

Emotion: I’m happy that I will be meeting with my mother in the near future.

I will first introduce the topic by discussing the substance of emotion and the ways we obtain knowledge. 

I will provide one example to show that emotion is actually not our enemy, but something that helps us to construct knowledge. 

I will be adding personal experiences and a real life situation that fir into this context. 

Yet, a counter claim will be inserted as well.

Lastly, I will be placing the conclusion about my findings and my own perspective.

Imagination: for ESS, chemistry and history you can imagine what might happen after an event occur which further gives you the knowledge such as knowing that if yellow adds with red, there’s going to be orange.

When we go to a new country or place, we may not know which direction we need to go when we are facing crossroads. In this case, we may rely on our intuition in order to decide which side we choose to go.

Imagination:

We may be controlled by others every time and everywhere, which means we always think we have independent thinking and ideas, but actually every action we had done may be controlled by aliens or other unknown people. 

Mathematics and natural sciences. These two areas of knowledge have a strong connection to the existence of theories. The principle we learned right now in both math and science subject did relate t theories because theories help to proof something is correct. This causes us to learn it and use it as real life technique.

Thanksgiving: the school changed the form of celebration this year —> unite everyone together to celebrate —> nature

These memories usually involve both people and events because these memorable events usually created by people (to me).

As they are all domains of study that require precision when positing axioms, as they often come under intense scrutiny. History, in addition, due to the fact that historians assign labels and terms to people and decisions in the past that, while it can help you organize information and for making judgements, may hinder your understanding.

In the area of religious knowledge systems, people also label ideas and contents. For example, while people interpret the Bible, names mentioned in the Bible are labelled as "good" or "bad" or "what kind of person this character is" this allows the Bible to be understand by more people and makes it easier to understand, but this also makes the interpretation limited. People can get stuck by the labels given and not able to interpret in other ways.

Labeling is an important part of the natural science. In one of the area, biology, scientists label animals,  they found as reptiles, mammals, etc. This gives people a good idea on a specific animal even if they have zero knowledge on it, we only need to know what label/ category does it belong to. But this also limits people's chances to discover new characteristic or new traits of animals because labels limit our knowledge.

In the area of arts, people also label different art styles. For example, impressionism, fauvism, etc. This gives people a good idea on some values the artist may have, what time may the art be produced, but it allows less possibility of explorations on art.

AOKs: Math (pattern of it can be recorded), Human sciences (results from experiments on things that related to human can be labelled out, which can help to conclude to a certain statement that support people to constrain the knowledge),  history (timeline can be a way to label it out; this can substantiate the statement that labels are a necessity in the organization of knowledge), and ethics (logic, process, and ideas can be listed out)
