Yes, i think i've experienced it a lot since some of my now friends have told me that when they first met me they thought of me as a shy and serious person. I dont consider myself with those traits, however i didn't react badly to them since i do it as well. I see people and of course i may have a prejudice about them yet once you get to know people you can be wrong or right.

In what ways can focusing on only one identity category hide important parts of a person's experience? Give an example.

Focusing on only one aspect can hide how other aspects like gender or sexuality, can shape someone’s experience. For example, a lesbian black woman could face racism, sexism, and homophobia in different ways that can't be understood by just looking at one part of who she is.

What qualities or actions do you think are needed to become an activist? Write about your ideas and give examples.

I think that for someone to become an activist it has to be a person that has the courage and strength to go under preassure and endure harsh criticism. For example, Malala Yousafzai showed great bravery when she spoke out for girls’ education even after being attacked for it. Even after the harsh comments and actions she still standed with her own beliefs which impulsed others to do so as well.

What do you think people, communities, or even artists can do to build peace and prevent violence when cultural differences lead to conflict?

I think everyone can make an effort to try and learn about the differences in cultures, we should be taught to respect each culture and stop building a superiority type fo complex for an specific race or culture. We as a community should promote more events that brings cultures together, so we can share and express them so people can learn.

I think it influences because they have experiences, these experiences can easily influence someones identity or way of thinking. For me art is the way to express yourself, your whole bieng and identity. Therefore when you are exposed into different cultures and ideas, you can take a few bits of everything and create you own identity to then express it in the for of art
