This, in my opinion, is one of the best photos I took during my family’s summer Europe trip. We hiked up a huge hill to go see it and it was so beautiful standing silhouetted against the sky line, I just had to take a picture. It did some basic editing, exposure, temperature, contrast, basically the light and color panel. Additionally, there was one person in a red jacket climbing the steps while I took the photo so they had to be removed. Other than that this photo is how I saw it.

Haupapa is the largest glacier in Aotearoa at around 2.5 miles long and 2000ft thick. Unfortunately, due to climate change, it will likely disappear before 2100, even if ambitious climate preservation targets are met.

This photo was a collage of our Vigan trip last September 2023. Vigan has been part of my childhood because the ambiance, houses, food and transportation (kalesa or horse carriage) takes me back to “old yet a beaut” era of the Philippines.

In 1945, an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Standing in front of the A-bomb Dome, which tells us of the devastation of that time, I was lost for words. However, I felt the strength of life as I looked at the lush green trees that sprouted from the burnt earth beside the dome. I pray for world peace.

Captured in January of 2020, an old Buick turned taxi on one of the many colorful streets in Old Havana. Classic American cars can be spotted all around the city, most commonly used as taxis now, the history of these cars runs deep. Due to the US Embargo after the Cuban Revolution, the importation of American cars and car parts was banned. Since then, these classics have been kept running by parts not even intended for them!

Gentoo penguin colony at Port Lockroy, Antartica. I was finally able to travel to my 7th Continent - Antarctica in Feb 2024. The expedition ship took 2 days to get there from Ushuaia, Argentina across the Drake Passage, the most dangerous and treacherous crossing on our planet.
