After 6 days his boat sank. He had 3 pounds of food and 8 pints of water. Luckily Callahan had a still which helps you turn salt water into regular water. it took 76 days for someone to rescue him.

Bethany Hamilton was 13 years old. While she was surfing she was attacked by a 12-15 foot-long tiger shark. The shark bit off her left arm. After that she yelled warnings to other surfers and swimmers. Her dad used a surf leash to stop her arm from bleeding. She was the fourth person in 20 years who lost a body part from a shark attack.
