Maniquis,Ashley .Group 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,1.1. The benefits of topic avoidance include reduced stress, saved time or reduced risks, and the disadvantage of topic avoidance is that by not addressing conflicts avoiding conflicts may also cause a festering of tension, which can result in a goal-stopping event, such as a blow-out argumentAnd the disadvantage of fillers/hesitation devices is they can detract from your confidence and credibility. Imagine presenting a strong recommendation to your board of directors and using um in between every word the constant fillers would undermine your message. And the advantage of fillers hesitation devices is They let others know that you're not quite finished speaking yet, even if you've paused for a moment.Lascano, Sheena Joy O.Group 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,2.it would help you understand and focus more by communicating with others. Tending to listen more and not 'listen to reply' has a big impact on how you view the other party's perspective. It can build a wide relationship with them.Dolientas,Sean Andrei .Group 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,3.3. there are many situations that can be used such as foreignizing it makes the reader realize that they reading is a translation of the work form the foreign culture, those in code switching there are many reasons to use this method, such as the need to fit in with a group, as a force of habit, or to convey thoughts and concepts that might be easier to explain in a specific language and the literal translation can be used in documents that have not been changed to originality and can be translated quickly and reliably.Regla,Jheng Carla .Group 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,4.For me, we can use communication strategies even if we don't have a communication problem or difficulty because these strategies can be used also to gain confidence in speaking, boost fluency, appear interested in talking, and develop a sense of independence.Aquio,Princess janineGroup 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,5. it is important that we know what they are going through so that we know the right thing to say and we can communicate properly.Sanchez,MariellaGroup 3As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills,6.6. The significance of interpersonal skills in determining appropriate communication stategy depends on the person or situation which allows them to connect with others and improves their personality. People who have strong interpersonal skills and use appropriate communication strategies are more likely to form positive relationships and collaborate effectively with others. It also ensures that all important information is communicated to the appropriate people, both internally and externally.

What is the advantage and disadvantage of using message abandonment, topic avoidance, and fillers/hesitation devices?
- As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills, i believed that some of the advantages and disadvantages of using message abandonment, topic avoidance, and fillers/hesitation devices are that using thia communication strategies can not just help you whenever you experience struggles while communicating and expressing his/her meanings hence this strategies can aid you in terms of sudden confidential topics that needs to be avoided, message abandonment whenever you try to avoid or continue the words you are going to say that can hurt the other persons feelings for sudden insensitiveness, and also it can help you to gain more words to say by the use of fillers, with the use of filler it will give you more time to think what is the right word you should use. On the other hand, the disadvantage of these strategies are that it doesn't make the communication efficient and successful because you are not pertaining it properly to the person you are talking to and by that it can waste your time, their time, and can create misunderstanding.

Name: Mascarinas, Francheska Maxine

Group Number: 2

As an FCPCian who characterizes interpersonal skills…

1. What is the advantage and disadvantage of using message abandonment, topic avoidance, and fillers/hesitation devices?

-The benefit of employing these tactics is that communication breakdowns are avoided. While using these has the drawback of expressing ambiguous views, it also has the potential to cause misinterpretation.

2. How can communication strategies help you to avoid communication breakdown?

-Because each approach has its unique manner of preventing miscommunication, communication strategies aid in the prevention of communication breakdown. These approaches aren't only for locals; we can use them all around the world.

3. In what situations will you use foreignizing, code switching, and literal translation?

-These tactics will help me communicate with people who speak a language other than mine. Because I am not fluent in English, I can utilize these with a Filipino-American, for example.

4. For you, should you use communication strategies even if there is no communication difficulty? Why?

- Yes, we should always use communication tactics. Always keep in mind that prevention is preferable to treatment. In other words, rather than resolving miscommunication or disagreements, we should prevent them from occurring in the first place.

5. Why do you need to put yourself in the shoes of the people you are communicating with?

- Some of us merely listen but don't understand what someone is saying or screaming about. People must put themselves in the shoes of the people with whom they are speaking in order to comprehend their feelings and, at the at least, provide them with some inspirational advise.

6. What is the importance of interpersonal skills in choosing an appropriate communication strategy?

-We can choose what to say when speaking with people by using our interpersonal skills. Our selection is sometimes influenced by the status and relationship with the person with whom we are conversing.
