Talked about the the things women faced out in the work force.&nbsp;<br><br>Now: National Organization for Women.&nbsp;<br>Now's major goal was the equal rights amendment.&nbsp;<br><br>Ms. Magazine: kept women up to date on stuff happening with women in the world.&nbsp;<br><br>Title IX: pushed to pass a law about the educational amendments. Basically focusing on women's rights. IX kept school from discriminating against all women especially in athletics.&nbsp;<br><br>Roe v Wade:&nbsp; an important issue was women to repeal laws against aboration.&nbsp;<br><br>Women need to decide what happens to their bodies.&nbsp;<br><br>This law declared that state could not regulate abortion during the first three months of a pregnancy.&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;Thirty-eight states had to ratify the amendment to meet the ¾ requirement and only 35 states ratified the amendment.&nbsp;<br><br>recruit African American candidates over white candidates to improve social and economic status<br><br>&nbsp;the Supreme Court ruled that schools could use race as a determining factor for admissions<br><br>De facto segregation: takes place by fact, rather than by law.&nbsp;<br><br>Swann v.
