Definition: Ancient wisdom is persuading someone to believe your theory because its been around for a long time.

Connection: This video shows ancient wisdom because it suggest that the ancients beings created them. people are more likely to believe facts about something from 100's of years ago simply because they still exist today. They believe that if the facts were false they would have figured it out by now therefor they must be true.

Definition: confirmation bias is when you choose to believe something strictly due to the fact that it supports your beliefs. information that contradicts your beliefs is usually ignored.

Connection: a solid example of confirmation bias is Donald Trump as president. this article goes over all the reasons Trump should not be president. A lot of people have a negative impression from Donald Trump, and since he became president the public has viewed him as a joke. The news seems to broadcast all the negative things trump has done since becoming president and very little about anything positive Donald Trump has done.
