Machines started to be used in factories. People also started moving into cities and out of the countryside. This made it easier for goods to create higher quality goods and much faster. This was caused largely by new inventions and growing populations

Early 1800's - Egypt began industrialization

In the early 1800's Egypt began industrializing by bringing in European advisers to help with industrialization. Egypt had already been selling smaller amounts of cotton to the British factory's to make textiles but Egypt began cranking up production of cotton at this time. However there was a problem because the Egyptian's had large debts the British the British where now the ones in charge of industry there.

1853 - Japanese Industrial Revolutions began's

The Japanese where originally and isolshenist country until they where forced to open up there ports and to start buy american imports. This happened in 1853 when us ships sailed into Tokyo Bay which foreign boats weren't supposed to be or allowed in but show of power worked to open up the Japanese to start Industrializing. When Japan started they were more or less a fuedle system. once they started they very rapidly industrialized in the span of about 50 years. How ever they where at a disadvantage since Japan is an island and had very few resources on there land and had to buy goods form other places to make things most of the time.

1884-1885 - The Berlin conference

The Berlin conference was the western powers coming together and splinting up Africa for which European nation world get what parts of Africa. However they made the borders without any regards to the native land of the tribes and empires that already lived in Africa. This would cause many problem in the future by spiting up family and county and them making enemy work together. The European mindset was the the Africans where "Stupid" and needed to be taught how to b "civilized". They also believed that the Africans weren't making full use of their land because they weren't using it was just a was just the right thing that they should use the land.

1600 - The East India Compeny (EIC) was founded

In 1600 the East India company was founded and they ended up running India like it was just a factory and they had its own army that was comparable to the army of some European powers. However The company ended losing control of India when the Indians reboiled because the company ran India without any car for the belifs of the Indians.

1897 - Benin fights back

In February of 1897, the Benin leaders heard the English where coming to take control of there capital. The Africans did win and killed all but 2 of the English officers. But in the end, they just end up falling to the British and have all other valuables spread all across Europe.
