Explanation: To me, this quote is a metaphorical and moral quote that tries to express the consequences of one's wicked actions. In the quote "Your wickedness makes you as it were heavy as lead", I interpret that it suggests that the person being addressed has committed wicked or morally reprehensible acts. So in the end it will cause him to be weighed down with a burdened, guilty feeling. Explanation: This quote portrays that those who have not been reborn, have not witnessed and experienced the real meaning of life. As well as, those who have made new creations and who have arisen from the dead, are a sin.

Quote #2: "Why you have not dropped into hell since you arose- that's God's hands that have held you up." (page 108)
Explanation: This quote means that even if people have sinned and arose with an evil meaning, God has still held them up and forgave them for what they have done. Expiation: To me, i feels like he is trying to convey a message about devine judgement and how powerful is wrath really is. With the quote saying "That you are held over in hand of that god" i infer that is it referring to how we are under the control of god.
