Without plants  humans would not be able to survive, due to the fact they provide most of the oxygen we need to breath . Plants play a big role in human  and animal nutrition, the plants provide  us fiber, protein and vitamins, some of the plants produce fruits that we consume. Plants also process the CO2 that we excrete, and how they use it? "Plants use carbon dioxide during photosynthesis, the process whereby the plant converts the energy from the sun into a chemical carbohydrate molecule. Plants use this carbon chemical to grow."1
