Before that, Judge Dixie Park was a magistrate at the General Division of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas and assistant law director of the city of Alliance. A respected intellectual on matters probate law, Judge Park is the former president of the Ohio Association of Probate Judges, where she served on the executive committee of the Ohio Judicial Conference. She sits on the Ohio Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Commission and chairs the Probate Forms Committee and the Subcommittee on Adult Guardianship of the Advisory Committee on Children and Families in the Supreme Court of Ohio. Judge Park has implemented numerous reforms to better the administration of justice for people who are elderly and people with disabilities, crafting a reputation for herself as an astute professional who forms beneficial partnerships with both community groups and government agencies.
