The Industrial Revolution brought major changes in the lifestyle of people, who previously lived and worked in the countryside and who came to live in cities (rural exodus and urbanization), in the world economy, influenced population growth around the world and the development of capitalism which is in force until the present day. What was previously done in an handcraft way is now carried out by machines in a more agile and efficient, increasing production capacity, changes driven by the emergence of new chemical products, steam machines, new forms of energy, advances in the field of medicine and in telecommunications. So although it happened in the 18th century, it still has an impact today, as it creates jobs, stimulates the capitalist system and through the inventions that have emerged in the past, many inventions are exist today and still others will emerge.

The creation of the internet

The internet was created in 1969, in the United States. Called Arpanet, its function was to interconnect research laboratories. That year, a professor at the University of California passed the firt e-mail in history to a friend at Stanford. This network belonged to the US Department of Defense. The world was at the height of the Cold War. Arpanet was a guarantee that communication between military and scientists would persist, even in the event of bombing. These were points that worked regardless of whether one of them had problems.
Currently, the internet is very important to find information and content easily and quickly, in addition to connecting people with great practicality. It is so influential that there are many people who are literally addicted to its. Nowadays, young children already play on tablets and other mobile devices, in addition to having social networks and this has significant effects on the brain.
It is a fact that, over time, ways to improve the internet are being seen and an example of this would be the creation of the 5g. For being somethig indispensable nowadays and something really amazing, the internet will still be used for many years, or even forever, if something similar to it doesn´t invent.
