E20161014794
I think, the best way to learn grammar is by doing practical exercises and watching videos where grammar is explained on the examples from real life. But, if you want to get better in English in general speaking, reading, and listening. I don't think that extensive knowledge of grammar is necessary. Then you just need to practice English in real life without thinking about grammar. If you can tune your ear into recognizing good grammar, the poor uses of grammar will become more obvious to you. We can recognize when people misuse verbs, or new English users get their plurals mixed up. In dialects and slang we seem to know what is being said incorrectly. The best place to see grammar in action is in published materials. The more exposure you give yourself to the correct usage, the more you will see, learn, and eventually understand the correct usage. The rules don’t vary much between fiction, non-fiction, newspapers and magazines. However, self-published materials on websites are infamous for using poor grammar. Stick to published works for the best models. It would be a valuable investment to submit your paper to a tutor twthat will check it for you, and ideally walk you through the errors as they pertain particularly to grammar. Tutors and other specialists won’t fix your errors or writing problems, but their intention is to help you improve. Keep a record of these so you will be less likely to make these errors again. Lastly, I would say reading is the best way to learn grammar. If you just look up different techniques in writing every week or month and then practice it until it gets perfect. Once you perfect one area, move onto a different area.

E20161014813

Based on my experience, the most legit and easiest way that I have done to enhance my English grammar was by learning it from a certified teacher. Teachers are the most reliable and trustworthy person to me as I learned about the most of the basic English grammar during school days.
Next, I also have done some English grammar exercises during free time. As the platform of learning and teaching is getting bigger and bigger, I took advantage of it to learn about English grammar from the exercises that I found while using the Internet rather than just buying more books that cost me to spend more money. So, I get to be better in my English grammar and save more money at the same time. A win-win situation for me.
Recently, I just found out that I can learn more about English grammar from social media just by commenting! As I comment something on social media, as long as I have made any grammatical error, plenty of "on-line teachers" aka Grammar Nazi from all around the world will reply my comment just to correct me. Although the way they replied my comment was a little bit harsh, I just took the positive things I can get from their comments to strengthen my English grammar in the upcoming future.
Another way that I implied to enhance my English grammar is by watching videos on the Internet. Not that I learned how to fluently pronounce the words in English, I also learn how to fluently speaks in English with the right grammar and how to conduct a conversation in English without feeling doubtful about any grammar error.
That is all my opinions on ways to strengthen my grammar. Thank you.

Also, it can boost my confidence level. Next, I can also hire a tutor or joining a private English class, in fact it is not that expensive like what others might think and in my opinion, it worth every cent. Practice makes perfect, I'm sure everyone heard this words. By keep practicing and doing exercises continuously, I can guarantee that it can improve my grammar. My teacher once told me when learning a language or grammar, just keep trying, never give up and just do as many mistakes as possible because that way, I will learn from my mistakes and remember it.

I can also download some Grammar online games in my phone so that I can play the game and at the same time learning about Grammar.

E20141014773

In my opinion, the best ways to strengthen one's English grammar is by constantly communicate in English. Yes, there may be some grammar errors at first, but do not be embarrassed about it. It is common for us, humans, to make mistakes. Just try to speak in English no matter how poor you are in the language. Be confident with yourself. Sooner or later, you will start to realize the errors that you often made. At the end of the day, you will be capable of sorting out which grammar you should use, and which you should not.

Another way to strengthen your English grammar is by reading English novels or any other type of books. For instance, in my case, I started to have interest in the English language when I was in kindergarten. I used to read a story before bed and my favourite story book would be "Stories From Around The World". When you read, not only that your English grammar will improve, you will also tend to learn the sentence structure and your vocabulary knowledge expand too. In other words, you can consider it as "all in one" type of learning.

If you want a fun way to learn and strengthen your English grammar, I suggest you watch English movies and listen to English songs. You will soon get used to the grammar, the use of word and the language itself throughout the movies or songs. Little did you know, your English will be getting better and better and you are able to achieve all of that without even realizing it. These are my point of view on how to strengthen one's English grammar.

In my own opinion, there is a lot of ways to strengthen one's English grammar. Well I do have my own ways which strengthen my grammar all this while. Firstly, I do communicate in English most of the time with most of the people all this while. Communicating in English most of the time helps me to improve my grammar. I learn a lot when I speak in English with the people who speak better English than me. Secondly, I do read a lot of novels to improve my English grammar. I get to learn a lot of new words and also new way of sentence structure. I also learn the way to use proper grammar in sentences when I read a lot of novels. Then, I do practice myself doing a lot of questions from different type of books. It helps me to use proper grammar all this while. Other than novels, I do read daily newspapers and magazines. This helps me to improve my grammar and English language as well. I even gain knowledge at the same time. I do practices myself in writing. I use to write a lot and submit it to my school teacher when I was in school. Well although I do have mistakes in my essay, I always try to correct it the next time I write one.

Back in highschool , my English language teacher used to tell me and my classmates that English is a very crazy yet a very interesting subject for one to learn and I personally agree to her statement . In my opinion , the English language which is also known as the second language is a never ending journey . Do you know that there are still a certain amount of people who are willing to master the usage of grammar in the English language but still have no idea on how to do so ? Well , I would like to share several ways on how did I help myself to strengthen my English grammar . First and foremost , I put myself in an English speaking environment . Meaning , I use the English language often when I converse with my family members . By doing so , I was not the only one who was given the chance to strengthen the usage of grammar but also my younger siblings who are not really aware of the language yet . Secondly , I was also capable to improve my grammar usage by reading . Reading not in the sense of novels or fictional books but in the sense of qoutes and sayings . This surely exposed me to the correct usage of grammar and apart from that , I could also acquire the knowledge on how metaphorically a writer could think before he or she creates a qoute . Next , I personally have a small notebook where I write down words that I am not familiar of when I come across any articles in a newspaper or magazine . To make my learning process interesting , I have decorated my personal grammar book with a lot of colours and pictures . Those colours definitely resurrected the excitement and urge in me to know more words . Another step I took to strengthen my grammar is I was never afraid of making mistakes when I speak or write English . Instead , I am a person who is willing to make mistake and learn from it . Without doubt , as days passed by , I could increase my improvement in my grammar skills . Furthermore , movies especially from the Disney Production built up a platform for me to learn proper usage of grammar . I was exposed to Disney movies and cartoons in a very young age and I am surely very grateful for taking that step earlier . By watching English movies , one is able to be aware on how native speakers speak without grammar errors . Another important method I keep track of to strengthen grammar was I always carry a mini dictionary around I with me . Dictionary is one of the most essential source one could get to search any unknown English words and get to know how to use that particular word in a sentence . These are the few steps that I have and still carrying out to make my grammar ability more stronger . Remember that nothing comes easy without hardwork . Therofore , never stop pushing yourself to learn .

Perhaps it was her way of strengthening my grammar at an early stage. To me, English is a language with a very wide background and indeed grammar plays a pivotal role in it. One of the most prevalent way of strengthening grammar is through communication . Communication is a must in our everyday life and by using English, I eventually learn to improve my grammar and prior to that communication becomes more efficient.
Besides, when it comes to me, reading is a must to strengthen grammar. Regardless of what book or source I read from, I do somehow get knowledge about precise grammar usage. The more I read, the more aware I become of using correct grammar. Reading books especially books related to English grammar gives a wider view and knowledge on grammar. It takes a lot of effort and time to improve grammar and reading is one way of having a leisure and at the same time I get to learn precise grammar usage which is indeed beneficial to me in both ways

E20161014818

When I have been asked on how do I strengthen my English grammar all this while , my English teachers' faces appears on my mind . They are my back bones . They are my strength . They are always there for me when I need them . When I was in primary school , I am a very bad in English language student . My father decided to ask his friend which is an English teacher came to my house and taught me English language every evening . The classes took about just an hour every evening but it worth me . I managed to get the higher marks for my monthly test compared to the previous tests . It comes to UPSR examination . I am very scared at that moment and luckily I managed to get an A for my English subject . My English teachers are always be my hero in English language . My English teachers in my secondary school used to punish me when I used to make grammatically errors in our conversations or for my essays . One morning when I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop , a girl with messy bun hair catched my attention . She was in her own world , holding an English novel without moving an inch while her hazel blue eyes kept focusing on the sentences at that page . I was wondering how can she kept focusing on her reading in this crowded public place . A week later , I managed to go to the book store and went to the English novel shelves . I picked a novel and went to the cashier caunter to pay the book's price without spending my time to analyse the synopsis . When I got home , I started to read the prologue of the novel . I was amazed by the words and sentences that written in the novel . I skipped my dinner without I realised and I only knew I have not taken my dinner when my stomach started to produce its rumbling sounds . I sticked with my first English novel all the time . I finished the novel and I was like in another world , in my new world . I started to improve my grammar through the novels . Besides I can find the new words that I can used in my life and essays . I also have a friend from Katamso , Medan in Indonesia . We will always have our coversations in English since she was not really understood Bahasa Malaysia eventhough Bahasa Indonesia and our national language just alike . For me , chit chatting also can improve my grammar . I also enjoy watching English movies during leisure time on the same time I can coped with my stress . For every English movie that I watched , I will try to not to depend on the Malay subtitles or I will include the English subtitles to make it clear . Spending time to write my daily routine in my beloved diary also one of the ways I improved my grammar . I am pretty sure that all of teenagers nowadays will have their Twitter account as well . For me , I will try to tweet in English in order to help myself to improve my grammar and to attract my followers to grow their passion in English . So I think there are my ways on strengthen my English grammar .

Literally, there are so many languages in this world that certain people might know but some might not know. Here comes to English language, actually English language is just a piece of cake and basically it is also known as International Language of all places. Everyone would be very confuse in learning English but through learning English we can always communicate with others easily but first we have to strengthen our English especially our grammar. Many people always worry that when writing anything they have to focus on their grammar so that others will understand what were they explaining about. So, in my opinion I think we can improve our grammar by speaking more English to anyone so that you can know where you went wrong and you can change every mistakes you made so that in future you can speak more fluently. Speaking had played a very important role to me so that I can improve my English language and to be more confident when speaking with the audience. I do not really focus on reading comics or magazines but I will do more reading especially English novels so that I can improve grammar skills and at the same time I can also improve my English vocab too. Generally, English language is my mother language because I usually speaks English with my parents since young and that could allow me to have the confident to speak more with others. There are actually other ways to improve and to strengthen our grammar but basically these are the ways that I've done to power up and to boost up my English grammar.

Furthermore, English plays an important role since it creates a good utility. The reason why im saying this is because I used to improve my language by reading novels. I had this habit since I was young. For me, reading novels can improve my grammer and vocabulary. Not only that, we can also get to improve our language by reading newspaper. Newspapers are the best way to improve our vocabulary and grammer. On the ther hand, through newspapers we can also get to know more about the issues happening in outside world. In addition , watching televisons , movies , podcasts are also very helpful in improving our English by watchinng and listening proactively. Therefore, having a radio is also very helpful because it keeps our mind in the english zone.Last but not the least , english can also be improved by doing writing. To get good at something, you have to do more writting over and over about something. For n example, writtting a diary everyday can improve our level of vocabulary.

Furthermore, one should surround themselves with people who are fluent in English as it will help us in getting accustomed with their command of English.

Some people are afraid to speak in English. Why ? Most of the time the answer would be " my grammar sucks " or " i can't arrange my words accordingly ". I feel the same when i started to learned English. My insecurities keep increasing and somehow i wanted to gave up on this. Still, i continued and i forced myself to be shameless. Then i noticed, i was improving myself back then. And "they" keep asking me , how did i learned English. Basically in my opinions, to strengthen your English grammar and improving it in ways that everyone are able to do the exact same thing , then one should read a million times . It can be in various forms of reading . Not necessarily spending our time holding a thick and hard book in one hand and a magazine in another hand . There are many ways that we could look into fixing our not-so-broken grammar. Polishing it until its bright enough to shine. Always reach out to the elders for a better guidance in improving our grammar in English. As they were born before us, and their knowledge is much more deeper than us , so asking them for some advice might do us a big favor. We should not be ashamed to seek for help from other people as well . " those who don't seek for the answer , will be wandering around eternally . " If you don't want to get lost , then find a map . English sounds easy , BUT it can kills . How many people in this world that really look into the word " GRAMMAR " ? for as all we know , GRAMMAR is closely related to English. Alright then , lets get back to business. So the FIRST thing that we all should do is basically , to learn the parts of speech . To form a complete sentence , then you need to understand which part belongs to which part . SECOND, you need to slowly recognize the point of view . In English , we have PLURAL , AND SINGULAR . So we need to see which point of view are we using. For example , are we using the first person singular ? or are we using the first person plural ? make sure not to be confuse by this. THIRD, we need to use proper word order . Now how are you going to make a proper order if you yourself have no idea on what you should do ? simple , like i mention just now , READ. FOURTH, Practicing grammar . Whether it is verbally or orally , it is up to you and it depends on your own ways of learning. As long as you are in the right track all the time , you should do well . And last but CERTAINLY not the least , we need to have CONFIDENCE in ourselves . Positive Mindset is a must for us in order to feel better all the time . Learning Grammar can cause you to reduce your kilos, so it is important for us to be pumps up all along.

Have someone who is more skilled than you are read some things that you have written. This way, if you have a particular problem such as a poor understanding of how commas are used or you are improperly using the correct tenses, you can focus in on that particular area of study. We also can strengthen our grammar by watching movies.By choosing the subtitles options while watching movie i'm able to improve my grammar."Read and read even more".It's my daily motivator. It doesn’t matter what you’re reading, either – from genre thrillers to non-fiction books and tabloids, reading often – and reading every day – will boost your exposure to the written word. I believe that because there are lack of enthusiasm of learning english and improvising grammar.Well, from my personal opinion, having a group of friends who uses english language as the medium of communication can also be the way of strengthening our grammar.
Grammar is the system that structures a language, and every language has its own guidelines. But grammar isn’t so much about rules as it is the conventions that determine how we speak and write, and it includes things like spelling, inflecting words for different purposes, and the way words are arranged to form sentences. While it’s good to remember that languages are living things that constantly change, it’s also important to know that proper grammar is still necessary for communication. We can't be expecting our grammar to be better by just learning from book and not applying it through communication. So in my opinion, communication is the best way for me to strengthen my grammar.

E20161014786
The main point of learning a language is to be able to communicate well with others. As we all know that English is an important language that is required both in local and international countries such as Philipines and the States. It's not just about the language but the grammar does matter in order to improve yourself in speaking better English. So I would like to state my opinion on how I strengthen my English grammar.

First and foremost, the best place to see grammar in action is in published materials. Published materials? Yes, such as newspapers, magazines, novels and so on. To be honest , i hate reading. I don't like reading till my parents encourage me to do so. They asked me to read and read and read. So there's when i started to improve my grammar. If i don't understand that particular word, I'll try to google it and get to know the meaning. In my personal opinion, published materials are one of the best way that can guide you to speak and write better.

Secondly, as a student, I have to practise wherever and whenever i can. The reason why I'm saying that is because as a language learner, I know it is extremely important to speak and read at any given opportunity. For an example, when someone is talking to me, I listen carefully how they speak. When I'm watching a programme, i do see the subtitles so that i could understand that even better. You can even learn from the people around you. It can be the teachers, parents or even your friends. Like i said, it's just that i have to practise wherever and whenever i can. I do refer to online resources that use " spot the error " strategies and " choose the right answer " that make it easier to learn and practise.

Last but not the least, i prefer getting a piece of advice from a tutor. Since we know that they are someone who knows better than us ( almost everything ), they are the right one to guide us to speak, write and read better English. Tutors won't fix your errors or writing problems, but their intention is to help you improve.

Before i end my text, I would like to say that improving grammar does take much time and effort, but it is well worth it. Thank you.

I have to ask my English teacher to check on my essay if there is any grammatical error. And thanks to her, I went from nothing to something. Eventhough I cannot master grammar as well as my coursemate, this does not break my spirit. When I was 18, I end up being in pre-university. We were exposed with MUET (Malaysian University English Test) and my muet's teacher told me that "your english is rubbish. spm is nothing. you better start fix your english. start to speak. start to read english novel. start to read english newspaper" That is the turning point when I deeply wanted to master grammar and English very well.

E20161014778
English grammar is a basic that we should really understand and master if we want to be fluent in English. There are thousands of ways that we can do in order to strengthen our English grammar. Based on my own experience, I strengthen my English grammar. Since both of my parents are not English speakers, I studied really hard to totally understand English grammar. But, it did not take a really long time for me to understand English grammar. I guess it was because I was really eager to master English. Another way to strengthen your English grammar is to learn it through medias, any types of media. Either tv shows, newspapers, magazines, songs, movies, dramas, cartoons, documentaries and lots of other choices that you can choose to sharpen you English grammar. I watched a lot of cartoons when I was a kid even though at that time I don't even know what English was. All I know about English was it is a foreign language that is rarely used in Malaysia. But, as I was watching cartoons I didn't even know when and how did I even understand every single thing they were talking about. When I entered kindergarten, my teacher gave me a book. I guess everyone would recognise this book if I mention it. It is the legendary "Peter and Jane" series book that has always accompanied every kindergartener. I strengthen my English grammar by reading this book every single day. Other than that, I also listen to a lot of English songs as a way to improve my English grammar. But, the best way to sharpen your English grammar is by watching news or documentaries. This is because these two medias uses the real English without any slangs. Which means, these two medias uses the formal English that is not influence by any types of slangs that exists in this world. I really recommend this method to anyone that wants to strengthen their English grammar. After studying about English grammar by theory, practicing the proper English grammar in our daily life would be easy. There are two ways that you can do to help you strengthen your English grammar. First, by writing. In my opinion, writing is the easiest way for us to improve our English grammar. We can start it slowly by writing simple essays. When you think you have sharpened your grammar a bit, challenge yourself to write an essay with a more thrilling topics. Remember, always use the proper English grammar. If you are not sure if your grammar is correct, refer to your teachers and notes. Do not be shy to make mistakes because we are humans and there is no such thing called perfect. Secondly, we can strengthen our English grammar by practicing it when we talk to others. We can practice it when we talk to our friends at school. Also, ask your friend to correct you if you make any grammar error while talking to them. It might be intimidating when your friends points out your mistakes but in the future you will surely thank them for helping you out. A friendly reminder before I end my text, do not be shy to communicate in English even if your English grammar is not perfect because if you do not push yourself off your limits, you will always stuck at the same place forever.

My grammar is mostly improved by learning through my English language subject in classes by my teachers whom have helped me greatly. I have learned and began to understand the reasons why certain words can only be appropriate for certain situations such as using ‘who’ or ‘whom’ in a sentence. Besides that, reading storybooks and writing essays has helped me to improve on my grammar as well. I would ask my teachers about the mistakes I made in my essays so I would learn from them and not repeat them again. Although I have learned a lot, there are still more to learn as I have only scratched the surface.

E20161014772
Learning English is an essential skill that everyone should conquer. Being able to communicate in English will help a lot for those having to work overseas in foreign countries or even having a conversation with people of different races and languages. However, most of us face difficulty when having to speak the language. This causes us to have the fear of talking in English, as we find speaking the language with improper grammar embarrassing. Grammar is like a guideline or perhaps a set of rules in which we can refer to in order to converse well in English. Without proper grammar, misunderstandings in between communication may somehow occur and cause a lot of confusion as well. Therefore, it is crucial for us to improve our English grammar as it’ll increase our confidence in conversing the language.

One of the most effective ways to strengthen our English grammar is by reading tones of books like novels and such. Try starting off by reading some eye catching novels such as ‘The Hunger Games’ or ‘Diary of the Wimpy Kid’ and so forth. Books such as these are by far one of the most interesting books ever encountered. Yet still, they manage to help to expose the readers to a better and more sophisticated usage of proper grammar. Indulging ourselves into reading as a hobby would automatically get us to explore new words and be taught on how to write and speak without grammatical errors. Once we have exposed ourselves to such advanced grammatical writings, fundamentally we shall converse well in English and enhance our grammar.

Besides that, watching television programmes or YouTube videos online in English is also one way to strengthen our English grammar. For instance, shows like ‘Hannah Montana’ or even ‘High School Musical’ are not only entertaining but useful in enhancing our grammar. Usually while watching these shows, we tend to automatically copy their lines especially the funny ones. Apparently, this somehow helps us to understand on how to converse using proper grammar as we are already used to the way the characters in these shows communicate. Fundamentally, we would recognise when others misused their nouns or plural. In addition to that, we seem to be able to detect faults whenever someone uses their grammar incorrectly.
There are many more steps we could follow and use as a guide to improve our English grammar. Everyone has their own style of learning English in a way that it can be fun and convenient at the same time. Most importantly, do not be afraid to practice conversing in English as it helps a lot in bringing confidence in yourselves in speaking the language. Do not give up and never be afraid to make mistakes. Practice makes perfect, guys!

E20161014782

Issues these days are wreck especially when it comes to English Language Skills. Floods of citizens out there who aren’t able to even speak good English. Oh what a shame! Their grammar is totally down into the drain, and I did face that kind of situation before.

Main point:

Different people have different view of opinions. According to the task given to me today, I would like to share my views and thoughts on how did I toughen my English grammar all this while. Frankly, English is my mother tongue at home ever since I was young. However, I felt insecure to speak English when I was in my primary school days. Undeniable, my grammar was not that good back then. I had a rough time to actually figure out a way to put my sentences in the right English. I faced trouble to play with words that has to do with tenses, such as present tenses and past tenses. I will just mixed up everything without even thinking twice before uttering a word.

Manglish.

This is too similar among us, no ? We will be practicing this all the time, and I guess it’s like our habit to speak Manglish instead of English. We need a change to this.

Ways I improve my grammar ?

1. READ.

I love to read ; My parents started buying me books when I was 6 years old. I vividly remember the first story book I got from my beloved parents. The Fairy Kitten written by Enid Blyton. From that day onwards, I was fond of books. Whenever I step into a shopping complex, I will directly head to the bookstore such as Popular and MPH. Until today, that habit of mine is still in me. I have a large collection of novels at home. I will sometimes re-read it even if it’s already the tenth time. I will always have a novel with me wherever I go and I would spend my leisure, reading. Sometimes, I do read online from an app called Wattpad. I learn a lot when I read. I learn how to construct a better sentence, strengthen my grammar skills and a lot more. I would highlight any words that I do not understand and will dig my dictionary for the definitions as well.

2. TEACH.

I teach my friends ; When I was in my high school days, I guide my friends a lot in enhancing their language. My friends were so weak in their English language. Without any hesitation, I would lend them a hand whenever they were facing difficulties and helped them as much as I could. To me, teaching others will make us more secure of our language. For example, I would guide them on how to use bombastic words & idioms in their essays so that it will look interesting, teach them about the sentence constructing, and many more. With that, I gained more knowledge. I also improve my grammar in sense of the way I taught them what I know. I need to make sure that they understand my words and the grammar I was using. This is because if I use the wrong grammar, I might be teaching them the wrong thing. Therefore, I have to be aware of my sentences and grammar.

Conclusion:

We can all improve our grammar. It is a never ending lesson as we will always make mistakes and we need to correct it. I admit that even though I am now in university life, but I still think I need a lot more guidance as my grammar need to be polish more and more.

E20161014769
Communicating with one another in English has become a tradition or a custom that is followed by everyone nowadays and even the one without any English background. Parents raising up their kids by feeding them with English language more than their own mother tongue. Everyone nowadays realise and aware that wherever you go, with English you can actually manage yourself in this world. Nevertheless, speaking English fluently is simpler nowadays but speaking English without any grammatical errors are the biggest challenge. Even English educators and nowadays face difficulties in speaking English without any grammatical errors. So, here am I to give tips on how we can strengthen our English grammar!

First of all, we all know that newspaper are the most beneficial source created by human being. We use them to improve our vocabulary and English reading skills. The question now is how we can use them to actually strengthen our English grammar?? Let’s move step by step. First read through any article that you are reading, then analyse how and where they use their tenses correctly. Note them down in small note book. Try reading each and every sentence clearly and loudly in order for yourself to hear each and every grammatical sentences clearly. Try practicing the correct grammatical words with your friends and family. This can help yourself to enhance your grammar skills in every aspect.

Have you guys ever heard how professional public speakers give their speeches? Out of ten there will be less that 5 listeners who actually hears each and every word that the speakers say. Ironically none of them are interesting either but bear in mind that they can never go wrong in making common grammatical errors in their speeches. Not all of them are right but majority of them hesitate to go wrong in grammar department. Listen to how they construct sentences, where they place words in sentences, how they say common phrases, and the vocabulary they use. We can also learn ourselves by parroting them by repeating it in order to understand how sentences are formed without any grammatical errors.

Being an eighteen years old girl I clearly understand that listening and reading are the least things you prefer in your to-do list. And according my research regarding ways to strengthen English grammar skills I found that there are quite a number of online games and applications that you can download on your computer or phone that will test your grammar skills in a fun way. There also explanations for each and every wrong answers where these can helps us to learn from the mistakes that we make. THANK YOU SO MUCH! :))

E20161014814

Do you want to know what the base and foundation of perfect English is? The right usage of grammar in everyday sentences. It doesn't matter if you're speaking in a public event, an important meeting, or just a casual chat with friends and strangers, the minute you open your mouth to speak, they will judge your English based on your Grammar placement in sentences. We all know what these people are called. The Grammar Nazis. Now that we're aware of this, we obviously want to strengthen our grammar usage in our daily communications.

First and foremost, in order to strengthen our grammar, we must start off with the most cliche way ever, and that is to read, read, and read some more. I know that for some people out there, reading is as boring as watching a turtle race. It's not uncommon to be in that situation but then again, nothing comes easy in life. You can always start with reading online articles and interesting topics from newspaper cuttings; if and only if 100 page novels and non-fiction books are too much to bear. Always be consistent in your reading and in a few weeks or so, you will notice some slight changes in your grammar usage.

Besides the obvious, there are also some fun ways to improve your English grammar and that is to travel! Don't you just love travelling? Exploring new countries, getting to know bits and pieces of their culture, and at the same time, master their language. To improve your grammar, you should spend at least a few weeks, or months, in an English speaking country. That includes The Great Britain, if you're keen to master the old fashioned English, and also, the United States of America, if you're heading towards a more laid back style of English. This is honestly one of the best investments you can make to improve your grammar. When you spend some time with people who speaks almost perfect English (because no one speaks perfectly) you tend to head onto the same road. At the same time, have lots of fun while you're at it! Together with this point, I'll relate another which is to surround yourself with friends who can speak good English with precise grammar so that they can correct your Grammar if you misuse any. That's what friends are for, right?

For my last and final point, I highly recommend that you keep a journal. I know what you're thinking. "I have to read and write?!" It's bad enough as it is, isn't it? Well, let me tell you something. Writing helps so much when you're trying to identify the parts of grammar you tend to make mistakes in. When you speak, you usually won't realize that your grammar usage is just all over the place and that the person you're talking to is probably judging you, amused. It's not that bad once you get the hang of it, trust me. Get a small journal and bring it with you wherever you go. A page a day would suffice. Going on a vacation? Write about that. Had your first heartbreak? Let it all out. Bad day at classes? The journal is right there for you to pour your heart out to. Once you start, I guarantee that you won't go a day without writing something down. In time, your grammar usage will most definitely be better. Try it out, you won't regret it.

I guess that's about it. The most important thing is that you don't give up. Just because a person or two smiled at you as you stuttered to speak in English, doesn't mean you should stop trying. Life is all about making mistakes and learning from them. Mastering the perfect grammar usage is not an exception. Good luck and have fun!

E20161014766

What is grammar? To explain it in the simplest way, grammar is a set of rules to create sentences or phrases that make sense to others in languages. In other word, grammar is undoubtedly essential when learning a language. What is the point of having vast vocabulary if one cannot even construct a proper sentence that conveys meaning out of it? This is where grammar plays its role.

Let me tell you how I improve my grammar based on my own experience.

I was brought up in non-English speaking environment, meaning I only had a few people to practise conversing in English with. Frankly, school did not teach me that much; friends would throw sarcasms every now and then whenever they caught people talk in English, teachers were not inspiring and exceptional, and the method of learning bored me to death. I could not care less about this language, pushing it aside and thinking that it was just a burden to even learn it. It was no surprise that I never got an A during my primary school years for the subject. However, it was still necessary for me to do well in my UPSR, so I began to self-teach myself. To my astonishment, I managed to obtain an A in English. This was when my journey began.

My aunt, who used to live in KL, came and lived next to my house. She started tutoring me and told me that perhaps, I have potential in this – way more than I know. I doubted her, but I also knew she would not say anything if she did not mean it. She was inspiring, and I began to love every moment of my tuition hours with her. However, my improvement only came to light in 2011, when I was just about to finish my Form 3.

At that time, I’d learnt on how to educate myself in English through enjoyable activities. Firstly, it was through reading. I still remember how I was a huge fan of Harry Potter series at the moment. I still am, though. I bought myself a whole collection in both Malay and English versions. I would read it every night with my laptop turned on, and Google site was wide displayed on screen, using it to know more about sentence structure and grammar whenever I came across something new in the book I was reading. Afterwards, I got hugely involved in anime community and started to know this amazing site called Fanfiction. I have to admit that I owe a lot to this site for letting me know and learn about fascinating authors that should have published their own books by now.

From the Fanfiction site, comes the second method I used. It is the application of grammar in daily life. I encountered lots of people around the globe on it, and there was no other choice apart from using English as a mean of communication. Soon, I started to write my own short stories and published it. A lot of things happened during this time. I got bashed and insulted for not using proper grammar, my stories were reported by what we call nowadays as Grammar Nazi, and many more. At one point, I actually stopped writing stories and associating myself with these people, but eventually, I returned to the world of writings. I determined to learn more about grammar and yes, even though my grammar is still not perfect till this day, I still have to say my effort and endurance have finally paid off. In short, I apply the right usage of grammar in my writing and daily communication with my overseas friends to improve my grammar.

In a nutshell, I mainly used only these two methods which are reading and apply it in my daily life. Some might ask themselves like, ‘I have done this, but why am I still not good?’ My advice for these people is, do not ever stop. Do not ever think of giving up. Some might take longer to master. Some are fast-learner. It depends on each individual’s capability and efforts. Find something enjoyable to do when learning grammar. Just confidently speak English even though it might be wrong initially. You will fall, but get up and move on. Learn from mistakes and others. Then, the success will be yours.

As a Malaysian, most of us usually have difficulty in speaking English. Nowdays it is a must for each of us to have a basic foundation in English. So in my opinion on how to improve English is first of all, you must get used to English since you were a child. For example, parents should encourage their children to learn English . Parents either can send them to tuition or language classes so that they will be exposed to English. Secondly, encouraging yourself to read more books, articles or magazines in English. Through this way you can help yourself to explore new words and also improve your grammar. Thirdly, watching movies is also one of the best way to improve your English. If you are in a learning progress ,you can add the subtitles while watching the movies so that you can easily understand each sentence in the movies. I am pretty sure it would not burden yourself. Games also can help you in such a huge way to make a difference in yourself. While you are playing games, you will get connected with many players from all over the the world ,subsequently you will be able to learn new words that you have never seen or heard before. There are actually a million ways to improve your English. Dig deeper into the knowledge and you will realise that there are so many things that have not been discovered especially in English.

Students nowadays have high hopes and big ambition about furthering their studies abroad. How can we fulfil that kind of hopes and ambitions? So here are my thoughts about this. First and foremost, you as an individual have to really strengthen your English grammar. When it comes to English grammar, we will be crazily thinking about how to improve it, am I right? Well, here are some of the ways on how to improve it. Let us look at our closest ones, for example our parents. They were the ones who taught and raised us up so they know who we are inside out. Secondly, you can also fill up your leisure time by listening to music that you like. My advice is that, make your favourite playlist of English songs and listen to it as often as usual. Scientifically it is proven that listening to music will also enable passive learning. Lastly, one of the most common ways to improve your English grammar is by watching movies. Most of us does not realise that by watching movies, we actually improve most parts of our English skills, such as conversing in English as frequently as possible and most importantly but overlooked, our poetic skills.

Born and raised in Sabah, actually gives me an advantage in terms of learning English. Most of us, does not realise that Sabahans actually stress the importance of learning languages, especially English. Now, with that being said, I was in love with this language since I was 10 year-old-boy. In addition to that, growing up with an Indian father and a Kadazan mother, I had no choice but to converse English in my house. I was always focusing on my grammar but not in my soft skills. I had no intentions of improving it until I was forced to. The story began when my family was relocated to Subang in the year 2015. It was in the middle of the year and fitting in was one of my biggest fear. Why? The answer is because the way Sabahans talk in malay language is very different from how they converse in the peninsular . So when I got into the class, no one actually understands what I was talking. So I thought to my self, how could I overcome this problem? I finally found the answer. ENGLISH. It’s a universally known language that could be understand by everyone. So how does this reflects on how to strengthen English grammar?

First of all, by conversing in English with everyone, you can actually identify your grammatical errors and also other’s. This way, it will be easier to understand the usage of grammar. Secondly, I find writing an essay everyday will actually improve on your words selection in conversation and also writing. This will dramatically improve your English grammar. Thirdly, I find teaching the most efficient way to improve yourself. I am a strong believer of the saying “ Teach others to teach yourself ” that was said by my old teacher . I find teaching very useful because every time I start to teach, I learn something new. I believe everyone holds the potential to teach each other new things every single second. That’s how life is. Our daily lives revolves around education and learning. Lastly, I truly believe that entertainment holds the major key to our success in strengthening our English grammar. By listening to music, we actually study the lyrics passively. Which means, we learn new words, new ways of creating sentences and so much more. Movies? Yes movies is the best and easiest way to learn grammar. Every script of dialog that is conversed is movie is grammatically correct and by that way, we learn new words, new sentences and of course we improve our poetic skills as well

Growing up as a kid who speaks English most of the time at home, I did not really care about my grammar as I'm the type of person who speaks 'rojak' languages all the time. Sometimes, my mom would correct my grammar mistakes but you know, I just took it in my right ear and it went straight out from my left ear till this one thing happened when I was in my lower form in secondary school. Not to brag or whatsoever but throughout my years in school (primary and secondary), I've never gotten anything lower than grade A and I've got to admit that I was a little too over confident that lead myself to become a lazy person who does not corrects her own mistakes. Therefore, because of how I was at that moment, it was so heartbreaking to see that I've obtained grade B during my mid-year examination when I was in my lower form.I could tell that my English teacher was so disappointed judging by the way she was advising me to read more books and to often visit the library in my school (which I don't really like doing). At that very moment, I told myself that this should stop, whatever that you are now, there are some serious changes to be made.
One of the steps I took to strengthen my grammar was to visit the school library and to borrow some books as what my teacher had told me to do. Frankly speaking, I'm the type of person who hates reading. Reading was one of the things I wouldn't do even if it was the only thing left in this world to do. So I braced myself and read books. Yes,I read books. It was really astonishing as I couldn't stop reading the first book I picked up from the book rack. As I was reading, I jotted down words and phrases I wasn't familiar with and looked it up on the dictionary or even asked Mr.Google later on. That really helped me with my grammar issues. My second step was to watch lots and lots of English movies and listening to English songs. I was a hardcore K-pop lover. I watch, I listen and I could even talk in Korean. So I started watching English movies and the most essential thing in watching movies is of course, the subtitles. I would look at the subtitles and when I find any words I'm not familiar with,I call right away for Mr.Google's help, the same goes to when I'm listening to English songs. The last most beneficial step that I took was to read newspapers. I used to think of newspapers as something people use to wrap up stuffs and also trash but never did I realize that it was something that is so important to educate and fill people with latest news on what's happening in the world nowadays. Not only that, newspapers could also help one to improvise in their language skills. The newspaper I often read was The Star and also New Straits Times. What I would do was to highlight words and unfamiliar phrases and then look it up in any sources I could find. I believe that my grammar has improved a lot and I'm never gonna stop learning because learning never ends and is lifelong. Thank you.

E20161014774
Gammar is the system of a language or the rules we are required to learn in order to enhance the correct usage of English. We might be able to escape from a slight grammatical errors while speaking in English by adding in a little bit of accent for example as it is rarely spotted directly. But trying to avoid an obviously written mistakes in a sentence is a huge no no.So here are the ways you can set up as your guidelines on perfecting your grammar.
First of all, learn by imitating the way native speakers speak.Go ahead and watch those tons of videos uploaded on Youtube. Listen to the arrangement of the words and sentences. It is easier because you don't have to construct it in your brain. It just comes out because you have been used to it.
Second of all, try to have the English subtitles when watching movies. This will help you a lot in strengthening your grammar. You are being able to hear and see the words at the same time. Isn't it cool? On the other hand you won't need to hesitate about the spellings anymore. There will be less struggles and an extra time for you.
Finally, this will be the least wanted method in strengthening your grammar but yet it is proven to be the most effective way. Read and write. The best place to see grammar in action is in published materials.By the time you are reading, take your pen and paper to jot down the important things. At this point, let us all be multi-tasking. Practising these actions will eventually sharpen aging minds, improve memory and boost the cognitive skills.
Putting it in a nutshell, it is important to master a good grammar.Bad grammar may cause a misleading in communication.

E20161014808

Being raised in a typical Malay family, I was not trained nor taught to converse in English throughout my daily life. I was surrounded by the community that have a single mindset; "you're a Malay, you only need to speak Malay" and it make the world pretty much a living hell since I have the passion in studying English when I was a little kid. The only time I was able to learn and speak English when I was in the school; kindergarten, elementary and secondary. Those were the only time that I have the chance to gain new informations, improve my vocabulary and learn new words.

I never attend any English tuition or extra class, so it was quite hard for me to boost and polish my English understanding and proficiency but I got a few tricks up my sleeve on how to strengthen your grammar.

Firstly, you can strengthen your grammar through reading activities. Probably you might be thinking that this is a very cliché answer, but it is the truth. One can definitely expand their knowledges as they are exposed to tonnes of new informations. So, it is not impossible that we can sharpen our English skills just by reading books. Other than that, listening to English songs might be helpful too.

Next, the media is one of the biggest platform that I use to strengthen my English grammar. As a k-pop (korean pop) fan, I am used to watching variety shows, dramas and movies in Korean. But, I only know a little bit about the Korean language which is the "Hangul", so most of the time my eyes will carefully read the English subtitles provided at the bottom of the screen while enjoying the show. It is not limited to only Korean movies but other movies as well. It is better to watch an English movie with English subtitles as you can hear the words and see the correct way of spelling it.

Finally, practise makes perfect! This is the crucial part of learning, you need to apply it in your daily routine. There are several ways of practising English such as essay writing and conversing with others using English. You can simply have a normal conversation with your friend but try not to use other languages than English. It is important you know that it is not wrong to make mistakes, even the silly ones. Just ignore all the critisism. Focus on what matters, you and only you. Do not lose your confidence and stay positive.

If they can do it, why can't you?
