Well, I think it really means that we have a responsibility to think about students as learners and capable of great things. We have to permit them the space and time to be able to make mistakes and grow from those mistakes. We have to be an organization that recognizes the whole student is truly capable of improvement socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Educating the whole student includes educating them in each individual content area as well as how to work with others and how to care for themselves (physical health, mental health, passions, etc).
