The Renaissance is an European Artistic period that started in 1450 more or less.The defining characteristics of Renaissance music is your polofonica texture,which follows the laws of counterpoint and is chosen by the inherited modal system of Gregorian chant.

In 1492 Christopher Columbus left the port of Palos ( Huelva) , a fund financed by theCatholic Monarchs with a theoryown trip was that as the Earth was round , leaving Spain and was on the Atlantic Ocean come back to China or Japan . During the trip were finding remains of grass, followed the tracks and came to "land " . They explored and saw some Indians who lived there .
So was the discovery of America.

INSTRUMENT: HARPSICHORD.

The harpsichord was widely used in Renaissance and Barroque music.

Is a musical instrument with keyboard and plucked strings.

Its basic structure is one or two keyboards in which, pressing each key,

a spike goose, crow or condor lifts the corresponding string.

in 1468 in Salamanca, Spain.

I lived 61 years and died in León year

1529.

I trained mainly in the chapel of Salamanca.

In 1490 I became chaplain and when my teacher died, I became

Kapellmeister.
