Having worked in schools in different countries, but more so, different curricular, I have loved leading an IB school as the whole IB philosophy, curriculum framework, guidance, literature, family supports the notion of international mindedness. Each of our unit of inquiriy has a global perspective to it. Our children are encouraged constantly to see the world through the eyes of others. This is not so in other curricular. 
So, I think that IB really does support our students to prepare them for the world of global employment better than any other. from the academic curriculum, to the emphasis on language learning, the learner profile, the extra curricular. 
our students leave our schools with the "soft skills" (oh how I hate that term!) that employers are seeking.
But, aren't we oh so much more than that too! :)

International mindedness is a key trait that every student should be familiazed with. The continuously globalized workplace requires continuous learning, openness to new ideas, trust and respect to different viewpoints and cultures, competitive language and communication skills as well as flexibility. These are key characteristics for a global citizen that will enable him/her to shape and apply his/her leadership in any given context.
