Since standardized testing has become the norm in schools all over the United States, the issue of "teaching-to-the-test" has been ongoing. I was excited to learn about this approach because of its versatility in today's school rooms. The idea that there are different kinds of learners is not new, but the accommodation for the different kinds of learners is ever-changing. This is something I have always been passionate about. Not only does it foster healthy relationships with students, but it also encourages teachers to reach out to parents and colleagues for input and advice on their teaching.
