There is some sort of normalcy within social media when it comes to social locations. Most social media users are engaged in this type of platform that will allow them to speak their minds about their experiences in regards to social locations.<del>
A</del>ccording to Kit Smith of www.brandwatch.com, January 2019 there are 7.7 billion in the population and about 4.2 billion are internet users. 3.397 billion are active social media users on a daily basis and they spend on average 116 minutes on social media.
How are differences discussed on SNS?

Differences are discussed on SNS through blogging and commenting on post. When posting about anything, you open up the platform for the opinions of others. Unless otherwise stated, everyone who you are connecting with on SNS, are subject to comment. Some discussions can turn pretty ugly and mean whenever there is a disagreement about a particular topic. We need to understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and should be accountable for their own words. Our job, as people who are listening, is to keep an open understanding of two things. 1) The person's backstory, 2) Our sense of empathy. Social locations are tough issues to address but they are much needed conversations that can produce tolerance and insight
