This could suggest that she is a person who came back from the dead and is back because she has something that she hasn't completed within the time she was alive and is concentrating on that one goal - revenge

Also Spider in the mud could represent Arthur because he is helpless and need someone to rescue him but there is no-one there for him so he is left their to die on his own
