She did talk sometimes about certain moments in her life that burned holes in her soul, when she did it almost sounded like she was laughing. Like life had tried its best to break her, and the devil himself had no idea what to do with her. - L.L. Musings

I have lived in Maine my whole life. I love all the seasons. I like doing things outside all year round. I am grateful to live in such a beautiful state that has 4 seasons. I am within a few hours' drive to the mountains, the oceans, forests and cities. I am a small town girl, but love visiting the big cities.
I was too afraid to leave home for so long, now that I am 35 I have discovered a new love for traveling. I want to experience as much as I can. I am learning to take risks, and to trust myself more.
I have been married for 15 years to my husband Mike. We have two amazing little girls, Harper and Reese. We have two dogs, Molly and Brody.

I have owned dogs all of my life. I worked with dogs for a short time in a vet clinic and at a boarding facility. I am drawn to dogs and their personalities; their presence makes me happier and calmer and I trust dogs more than most people, even people I like. I will always trust a dog's judgement about another person.

Me and My Girls

I never pictured myself with two girls. I always played with boys while growing up and got along with boys better. I never felt like I fit in with girl groups. I was shocked each pregnancy (maybe even a little sad) to find out we wouldn't have a boy. I can proudly say I was so wrong about everything I thought was true about having girls. My girls are confident, funny, kind, smart, and hilarious! It has been the most healing experience for me to raise two girls when I thought I only knew how to be around boys.
