Bulk forming : First line treatment.  Bulk-forming laxatives are not absorbed,may be used  but may cause abdominal distension and therefore discomfort.

Stool softener - Docusate 
Can be add on to bulk forming laxative and lifestyle modifications. 
Pregnancy category: C

Referral is required if bleeding condition persists. 

Senna is not recommended  as it will cause uterine contraction.
