In Italy we have programs very similar to this one in which students compete in simul-enterprise activities. In this way, students are able to put into practice everything they have learned, work in groups and promote the skills learned.

In Croatia, schools can establish "student cooperatives" (učeničke zadruge). Cooperatives can sell products created as a result of the work of students, and the funds obtained from such sales are re-invested in the further work of the cooperative. That is because the main goal of the activities inside of a student cooperative is not profit but creating opportunities for learning (students can develop entrepreneurial competencies, work habits, self-confidence, and awareness of their own interests and possibilities, etc.). In the city where I work, schools can apply for additional municipal funds for their cooperative. There is also an opportunity to present their cooperatives and their products at a fair.

In Greece, in primary schools, where I work, there are not such kind of companies. But students get involved in a form of entrepreneurship by preparing some artcrafts and selling them on their own in our annual school bazaar , which takes place a few days before Christmas. The income of this bazzar covers some of the school needs. It ia an activity that they really like it.

In Croatia, there is the possibility of establishing training companies and student cooperatives through which students develop entrepreneurial skills.

The training company is a virtual student company that contributes to the development of entrepreneurial skills in students by working on the principle of a real company and operates on the virtual market with other training companies, but in cooperation with a partner company - a real economic entity on the market. In this function, the teaching program "Trainee Company" was created and implemented, which develops entrepreneurship as a key competence of young people - students of vocational schools. Students acquire the knowledge and skills of starting a company, managing it, hiring and firing workers, managing accounting and financial operations, marketing, concluding contracts, using real documentation.

Student cooperatives operate at primary and secondary schools as productive extracurricular activities.

In student cooperatives, students learn about: using available resources (the basis of economics); by choosing between several options (base of production and organization); presenting and marketing the manufactured product (basics of marketing); financial management (fundamentals of accounting).

In Romania, in the primary schools, where I work, there are no such companies, in the specialized faculties and in the high schools with an economic profile. In Italy, we can feel this kind of experience when students are at Upper secondary school (high school system) because on those grades students have to attend courses and a internship outside the school. They are asked to participate in internal activities inside the school as to foster and promote their experience into the entrepreneurial work of companies and enterprises.

I have never faced with such a list of companies which support schools in developing business skills of students.
Collaboration between schools and companies is something, that has to become a vital issue for the school society, but someone needs to make the first step.
I work in a private high school, so maybe it's our responsibility to contact companies and maintain the collaboration.
I think that after the course,i'll be able to suggest some ideas.

All vocational school here have something like this. Most of the students go to the different companies to work and gain experience in the area they need. Some companies even give scholarships to students. For instance, in vocational school for butchers, srudents go to practical work 2 days a week in a company- they have their menthor there and also a professor from the school to watch and guide.

In Romania, this process moves pretty slow. But, schools or even teachers themselves create short or long term partnerships with different companies resulting in activities such as creating objects to sell at different types of local fairs or small art galleries with products handmade by the students.

We have in many VET programs obligatory practical in company aside these in school. Students in company should have mentor, and mentor -teacher who comes in visit.

the skills are mentioned in curriculum of all vocational subject also many of them have a special subjects called the same name where they learn about it, visit companies... There is also a practical work called Practical firm( hard to translate) where students propose projects and then compete wiht them on a national level.

Instead of making young minds memorize the rules that might become inefficient in a couple of years, encourage them to imagine the situations that might happen in 15 years when they are starting their own businesses. Offer these questions:

Who do you want to become? Why?
What do you need to do to accomplish this goal?
Who will be your competitors in the market of the future?
What professions may no longer exist?
