Unlike the link's text, the three influential processes of development are explained in Santrock's textbook. In the textbook, rapid physical development occurs during the adolescence period which is explained on my first evaluation of link. In addition, Santrock's textbook splits the Child Development Institute's understand of the toddlers/preschoolers stage to two. Also, the link provides with information on the intellectual development occurring between the ages 2-5. Moreover, the goal of the Child Development Institute's link clearly states its purpose. The information within the provided link is directed to parents, not college students.
