Healthcare in South Korea is universal and funded through a combination of government subsidies, outside contributions, and tobacco surcharges. Hospitals and clinics are modern and efficient. North Korea claims to provide universal health care with a national medical service and health insurance system. It claims that health services are offered for free. Doctors cost very little because their salaries are very low.

In Korea, it is traditionally rude to look directly into the eyes of an elder/senior/respectable person who is speaking to you, most of all, when you are getting into trouble.

In South Korea, it's rude to cross your legs in the presence of other people. It's acceptable to sit with your legs straight or open a bit. Crossing your legs is seen as being lazy or disrespectful to the other person.
