• Check with my tutors that I have not misinterpreted the brief.

• Depending on my situation I am always quick to use a camera and photograph things around me for primary research.

• I respond to research through drawing with different and appropriate material, making poems/writing down the elements I want to use in my work.
• I enjoy reading a lot and usually I read a lot of online articles about various things e.g. from websites like Dezeen or Archdaily (websites that aren't conventionally related to my Jewellery Design course)
• I watch films/documentaries as part of my research and when appropriate I analyse the different elements of that video piece, from cinematography techniques to use of colour or motifs.
• Sometimes I get stuck in a creative-block so I take a break from my work which can be dangerous as I'm very good at procrastinating. But sometimes I might do an activity unrelated to my work and it will inspire me. So I continue again. That activity is usually creating a collage/ reading a book/ watching a film.

- Touching the wooden beads one by one

- Realising that every time I touched a bead, I wasn't focusing on the sound.

- Taking a whiff of the smell. I can smell my perfume.

- Both senses make me feel relaxed.

- Could be suggested as a meditation in the intro, to help the audience focus on the performance.

The main dress was made out of winter white denim and accented with blue lace

The denim was casual but the lace added a bit of glamor

the lace felt exciting if i closed my eyes i could actually feel the shape of the flowers as i run my hand over the sleeves. the denim was smooth to touch with a hint of roughness

2.The colors of different fallen leaves are very beautiful, i can hold them in my hands and play with them

We also use sight to see the level of ink inside the pen. Smell of ink can also be taken under consideration.

To apply this into my practice, I would like to design products or find solutions to problems that considers more than one senses.

Touch: Different kinds of paper, not very flat, some traces are left by my reading and eating. The edge of the paper is not that sharp.

to begin with, I would look into the relevant materials/artistic works and then define what to express in this research and slowly think of the way to construct the performance... maybe touch, flow, and respond to the tread movement.

Once I have a general direction, I'll look up some relevant information, try to make a sketch or write down a few keywords to clarify my thoughts.

Once I've decided what I want to do, I start to try it out. Adjust it as you go along to see how it looks.

After I finish a version, I will look at the whole thing myself or ask others for their opinions, and then change it according to the feedback.

When I look for inspiration, I mainly look at pictures, artwork, colour schemes, and sometimes listening to music can inspire me emotionally. In the concept stage, I read materials, draw sketches, and occasionally touch some materials to get a feel for them. When you start, you work with the materials in your hands, keep your eyes on the details of the finished product, and listen to the sound of the tools to judge whether it is smooth or not. When making final adjustments, look at the overall effect, listen to the feedback suggestions, and then decide how to change.
