These days, I have the chance to walk through this quiet path in the park of my hometown. It is surrounded by the bamboos and big tress. When I was walking on this path, I always slowed down my pace, enjoying the serenity of that moment. I can hear the birds chirping on the branches, the breeze blowing, I can even hear the beat of my heart. I thought about Miriam-Rose Ungunmer, she talked about the special quality of the Aboriginal people--Dadirri, " it is inner, deep listening and quiet, still awareness." (2002)
I couldn't help thinking of the Lotus Pose in Yoga, keep calm and still, listen to the nature, and to the heart in your deep inside.

Around me, there were lots of bamboos. They were lush and green, standing still there uprightly and vigorously with layers upon layers.
It made me think about the Tree Pose in Yoga, standing firmly down to the earth with the arms stretching up high towards the sky.

The early spring sunlight was shining through dense bamboo grove, drawing various lines on the path, thin or thick, light or dark, straight or oblique...... swaying slightly in the spring breeze. Wright ever said, the Arts communicate in non-linguistic, expressive ways, culturally and through symbol. (2003). At that moment, I can feel the spring is coming to me, talking to me, cheerfully and gracefully. I can feel this artistic expression communicating with me in non-linguistic way.
In Yoga, this is the pose "swaying with the wind ": with both of the feet standing firmly on the earth, the body sway from side to side, like a tree, sway with the wind, gently but powerfully.

My heart is full of passion.
As the educator, we can also create engaging and wonder-filled environments that promote learning through all eight of our youngest's senses-auditory, gustatory, visual, olfactory, tactile, vestibular, proprioception and interception.

In China, there is an old saying: Spring is the starter for a year as dawn is for a day. Every morning, many residents nearby all come to the park to spend some time there. Some are walking along the path quickly, some are playing badmintons, some are doing morning exercises together. They line up, follow the instruction or the music and make moves together.
This is a tradition of Chinese people. Our people love to be together with each other to do the exercise and share their experiences and happiness. Especially when they are getting older, they more like this kind of company. After living in Australia for more than 7 years, I can say that this is very rare for the people outside China.
To understand this place better, we need to know the tradition and culture behind.
Country is a place that gives and receives life. Not just imagined or represented, it is lived in and lived with ..... (Rose, 1996, P 7)
