Surveys of parents and students

We started the activities of the eTwinning "Let's S.T.R.E.A.M" project with surveys of parents and students. The purpose of the survey was to find out what fairy tales children and parents like and whether parents read fairy tales to their children. Students drew characters from their favorite fairy tales.

The Three Little pigs

One mom read the story "The Three Little Pigs" and the students did a STREAM activity. He built houses from straw, tree branches, LEGO blocks, tried to blow them up, wrote and counted, made a paper pig, drew houses on the computer.

The fairytale Little Red Riding Hood was read to us by our mother. The students engaged in active activities, solved tasks, navigated through mazes, assembled puzzles, folded story characters, and made a cube. The activities were very enjoyable for the children. Thank you to the students from Spain for the interesting tasks.

In class, students have retold the story to regir partners using the cubes wich contain the story parts.

We are finishing the school year with STREAM education at the Technical Creation Center. Once again, we read the fairy tale 'The Three Little Pigs' and completed tasks. We built houses out of toothpicks, drinking straws, and newspapers. We programmed a robot - a bee. We created mazes from the wolf to the pig. We enjoy doing these activities!

Another STREAM activity at the Technical Creation Center - the fairy tale 'Cinderella'. We built a carriage out of Lego bricks. We tested its weight. We tried to see if a heavier or lighter one travels further

Today at the Technical Creation Center, we read the fairy tale 'The Ugly Duckling'. We made a nest out of clay for the egg and decorated it with natural elements. Our nests provided a safe place for the eggs.

We ended the project activities with a short survey. The students drew their favorite fairy tale character, wrote down the activity they liked the most, and were happy with the project partners from Spain. Thanks for the ideas, cooperation and work done together.

Fairy tales survey

We did a survey of their favourite character and fairy tales. In small groups they put in common the activities they liked the most and did the survey. We were so happy and glad to develop this project with our Etwining partners.
