Visiting the Futurium museum. This place was very educational and innovative. Learnt a lot from this place in a short period of time (probably the whole purpose of this museum). Definitely thought about how amazing it would be if a museum like this was to be built in Mongolia.

Visiting the The Neue Nationalgalerie. The place where i discovered my interest in modern art. Also learned a lot from the gallery. One of the most impactful exhibition was the Feminism art room. Representing how society views women as an object and people assuming women as incapable beings just because they're born women when in reality it's the opposite from it.

We visited the Film museum where I was surprised how the film industry of Germany developed so much in such a short period of time. Got to know the 20th century icon Marlene Dietrich in depth and was very happy to be able to do that.

Visiting the Humboldt Forum. Learned how important it is when it comes to the arrangement of the artifacts in museums. Not only the arrangement but the lighting, background and all that stuff that highlights the beauty and the purpose of the artifact. For example, the picture above has a brigh lighting from the foot of the statue to make it look more extravagant and taller than it already is.

Zum ersten Mal reisen im Rahmen des archiSCHOOL Projekts neun Schüler der Monterosa-Schule nach Berlin, um aktiv mit den Schülern der Nelson-Mandela-Schule an einem Projekt zu arbeiten und den Schulalltag in Berlin kennenzulernen. Neben der Projektarbeit mit den Schülern des Leistungskurses Kunst nehmen sie in der übrigen Zeit am Unterricht der preIB-Klassen im 11. Jahrgang teil.

For the first time, nine students from the Monterosa School are traveling to Berlin as part of the archiSCHOOL project to actively work on a project with students from the Nelson Mandela School and get to know everyday school life in Berlin. In addition to the project work with the students of the advanced art course (Y12), they also take part in lessons in the preIB classes in year 11.

The 9th grade me would have never believed if I tell her that the amazing woman i met that spring would be inviting all of us in to her cozy home to do a farewell party for us. It all felt surreal almost, we all being there spending wonderful time with each other, going on fun adventures, eating, exploring together. Now looking back it all seems like a dream. I'm so grateful that i had the chance to experience all of this. Thank you for everyone that made this possible for us.
