Are you ready to start your learning experience for the last term of the school year? How do you feel about starting this new opportunity to build your own learning? What difficulties do you have to overcome during this last term? Write your reflection in a minimum of 100 words (add the word count).

Well, I would like to say I feel ready for this last term. But the truth is that I do not want it to end, I don't feel ready to finish Unit 4, or finish 8th grade. It's just really sad thinking about it. I never had any challenges ot difficulties the last term, maybe because I was not here all of it, but still. And I do have great expectations over these terms that we're just starting, and I hope it's as funny and interesting as the last 3 we had. On the other hand, I'm really exited about the things we are going to learn, especially the universe, it is something that drags my attention. So, I do hope everything will go as well as expected, and that is going to be a fun last term:( (I'm going to miss Mr Cristhian a lot by the way)

Word count: 150

Which was one thing that was new for you, one thing you already knew, and one thing that you found the most interesting about everything that was explored in these sessions? Explain your reasons for each of them by writing your thoughts in at least 115 words (add the word count).

Almost everything that we learned in this L.A was new for me. Though, I did know about the big bang theory. Not all of it, but most of it I did. So, this L.A was not ''new'' for me. On the other hand, the most interesting thing we learned was the thing of black holes. Even though I had lisent about them, I had never read, watch, or investigate anything that had to do with them. And when I saw the brain pop video I was amazed by that new information. I liked A LOT this thing about black holes and all they could do. And for me, the best and most interesting thing about black holes is the fact that we don't know anything about what's inside them. It is a mystery to us. And mysteries, are always the best things to solve, especially when they're as hard as this one. And when I get older, I'd love to investigate the space and everything that's in there, especially about the black holes.

Word count: 175 words.

Would you like to visit space? How do you think you could prepare for that? What did you learn from this LA and how may you use this knowledge in your present and future life? Write your thoughts in at least 115 words (add the word count).

I do, in this L.A. I discovered how beautiful and amazing space is. Indeed, I would like to be an astronomer as a hobby. I find stars and planets just gorgeous, and I'm in love with the unknown. On the other hand, I think that first I would need to prepare myself mentally, and maybe accept the fact that I could die in the attempt (just as it happened to Laika -cry-). Out of all the sadness for the dog, I believe that this L.A will help me with my astronomy hobbies, and as well for known lots of important names in the story of space, and names in history that should and will be remembered for all the things they achieved. And that's culture. And maybe it will help me too in the future to diced wich career I want to be in, and wich things I want to do. And that means a lot to me, not just because a professional career when I'm older, but it also helps me to build my identity.

Word count: 176

Did you achieve the objectives of this LA (they are stated in the “Introduction” section of this LA)? What makes you say that? Write your thoughts in at least 100 words (add the word count).

I believe I did. I mean, I'm very proud of my work and all the things I did during this LA, especially the Brain pop quizzes, and the padlet we did for step 6. I'm very proud of my work, not only because I got a 10 on both quizzes, and finished technically fast the padlet, but because I was able to learn quickly the information on this learning activity. And remember what I learned as well as something really important because I usually forget what I learn in a couple of weeks, or even in one or two days. But, in this LA I was able to remember what I learned, plus, I loved this LA, and all the information I learned. Since I was little I loved the space and every single thing related to it. So for me, this LA was literally heaven. And at the same time, the activities were fun and easy.

Word count: 157

What do you consider you have to review more about so you can apply it when working on your interactive learning model (summative project)? Why are consolidation activities an important tool in learning? Write your thoughts in at least 110 words (add the word count).

In my opinion, there's not much I can review for the consolidation, I believe that the quiz was just really easy, and to be honest I didn't even study. I was just really confident about this, because I know I learned, and I know what I learned. And that's something that usually does not happen to be in school, I usually need to do lots of reviews, and that something I had to do in past units in science, for example, when we were learning about the cells and the atoms, I had to study hard a hole day because I had no idea how did that work, and I did not understand anything. But with the space, it was not the same, it was so easy I didn't feel like I had to do lots of reviews and study as I did before. So, in my opinion, there's almost nothing (for not saying anything) that I need to review for the summative project, at least not that it is needed, but maybe it is recommended to do it.

Word count: 179
